STEWART PIERCE - THE FINAL RUN
“LONDON,
HERE I COME!”
After several years and thousands of miles on the
clock taking in marathons, half marathons and 10k
runs, and in light of his recently celebrating a certain
milestone birthday!! our own marathon man Stewart
Pierce has decided to hang up his trainers. But not
before one last hurrah in aid of the excellent work of
Parker’s Partner Charity TEENAGE CANCER TRUST.
Having been offered a place in the London Marathon at
short notice, Stewart found himself with only eight weeks
to prepare, and so he undertook a training crash course
covering over 400 miles which culminated in this ‘Selfie
Tour’ of Eastbourne. His route, which included all the
famous landmarks from the Pier to Beachy Head, the
Winter Gardens and the tennis centre at Devonshire
Park, was recorded in this series of ‘Pierceys’.
Normally he’s not one to ask for sponsorship in this
charity crowded world, but in this case!!... Stewart
would greatly appreciate cheque donations from our
many big-hearted customers made payable to
TEENAGE CANCER TRUST to be sent to our Head
Office address (right).
