A Family of Sensing Systems
A Family of Sensing Systems Wired. Wireless. Cloud-based. Parker Hannifin, the global leader in providing unprecedented performance and value for motion and control technologies, is pleased to showcase our entire family of sensing systems. Our Quick Coupling Division (QCD) continues to advance our line of sensor technologies for use in a variety of applications to monitor and alert users to system and equipment issues, including our latest innovation – Electroactive Polymer (EAP) Technology. Sensor system options for your unique application Each member of the Parker sensor family is designed to increase productivity and save you money. Whether you’re standing right next to your equipment, or are halfway across the globe, Parker has a solution that allows you to monitor your system in real time or analyze historic trends to keep your operation running smoothly. In a sensor, the EAP film is a flexible capacitor that acts as a displacement-to-capacitance transducer. The dielectric polymer exists between two stretchable electrodes. As the dielectric film is strained, it thins and expands within the area, increasing its capacitance. EAP sensors work with our SensoNODE™ and SCOUT™ wireless monitoring systems and software. EAP Technology may be a good fit for applications with specific needs such as: • Measuring high strain • Tolerating shock, vibration, temperature, and humidity • Fast response • High accuracy Contact Art Muir for more information on EAP at [email protected] or 408.215.7350. SensoControl™ Rugged and durable, SensoControl sensors are ideal for permanent installation in industrial and mobile hydraulic applications where continuous system monitoring is needed. These sensors are precision-engineered to offer dependable performance, long term stability, and are resistant to interference. SCP Series Pressure Sensors • Stainless steel body, case, and wetted parts • Shock and vibration resistance including E1 road approvals • Available in a wide range of standard and configured-to-order versions Parker.com/sensocontrol SCT Series Temperature Sensors • Measure system media temperature: -13° to 257°F (-25° to 125°C) • Ideal for applications with a working pressure of up to 6000 PSI (415 bar) Parker’s SensoControl provides a full line of sensors, controllers, and diagnostic solutions to create a complete performance monitoring system. SensoNODE™ Mobile Advanced condition monitoring means preventing downtime, minimizing costly equipment repairs, and eliminating lost revenue. As a wireless condition monitoring system, SensoNODE Mobile provides easy-to-use operation, low cost and simple installation, Bluetooth® connection, and viewing data on your mobile device. SensoNODE Mobile gives you the most consistent and accurate readings available with three wireless sensors that monitor your system’s: • Pressure • Temperature • Humidity SensoNODE™ Interface Parker.com/sensonode The SensoNODE Mobile App 2.0 provides a feature-rich user interface that allows for easy viewing of current and historic data. The interface provides robust data presentation and easy configuration and set up of alerts. With the newest version of the Mobile App, users will find better performance for connecting and disconnecting to sensors and the ability to export data. SCOUT™ Technology Parker’s new SCOUT Technology brings you data and alerts wherever you have an Internet connection. The Cloud-based system delivers critical information and customized alerts, allowing for predictive maintenance, problem identification, and optimal performance through a web-based interface. SCOUT Technology’s interface features user-definable measurement units and asset groupings providing convenient and familiar data presentation. Corrosion-resistant materials ensure SCOUT’s sensors operate and endure even in the most challenging environments. Parker.com/sensonode Product features: • Compact, lightweight design enables more flexibility • Yellow cap identifiers • No wiring or power supply needed makes installation easy • Unique ID for each sensor allows for easy differentiation • Simple push-button turn on feature Contact Dan Davis for more information on our Senso Family of products at [email protected] or 763.525.4217. © 2015 Parker Hannifin Corporation Senso Family Overview 6/15
