Introduction Of Japan by: Marcella Debrito Full ancient temples or futuristic cities to the mist-shrouded hills or lightning-fast bullet trains. What is it about the kimonoclad geisha outfit that makes people want wear them . It's all here. Some people who want to visit there would have misconceptions about it. For example, many people believe that it’s one of the world's high costly countries. In fact, it's cheaper to travel in there than in much of North America, Western Europe and parts of Oceania. Others think that Japan is never reasoned with. This country is one of the easiest countries in which to travel. Why to go to Japan? Japan has many traditional culture. I have spend weeks in cities such as Kyoto and learned about Nara, gorging myself on temples, shrines, kabuki, ō( a style dance-drama), tea ceremonies and museums packed with treasures from Japan's rich artistic heritage. Plus there’s modern culture and technology that most are fascinated with. Japanese many cities is like wonderland an easy way to peek into the future of a human race. Complete with trend-setting fabulous cafés & restaurants. Outside the cities, I have found much natural wonders the length of the archipelago (islands). From the coral reefs of Okinawa to the ski-resort of Niece, Japan has more natural wonders to compete with its cultural treasures. Then there's the food; the food is impossibly fresh in sushi in Tokyo, perfectly battered tempura in Kyoto, or a hearty bowl of rāmen in Osaka, if you like eating you're going to love Japan. Top Two Best Places to visit in Japan Kyoto Once the country’s imperial capital, Japan’s seventh largest city escaped bombings during World War II, plus centuries-old temples and shrines still standing. The Fushimi-inari Shrine is particularly impressive. It has 1,000’s of orange-red shrine gates (torii) that form a 2.5-mile (4-kilo-meter) path, which ends at the top of Mount Inari-san overlooking the grounds. Kyoto’s Nijo Castle is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Dating back the 1600s, its Ninomaru palace features featured wall paintings and sliding doors. Tuck in for the night at the Hotel Granvia next to the Kyoto Station. I Head to Heianjingu shrine’s famous 355,000-square-foot (32,981-square-meter) gardens, which I attended by a 7th -generation gardener. Exotic birds inhabit 4 sections of the garden (east, west, north, and south) that surround the pond. The garden is most beautiful in spring when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. To get away alittle from temple touring, visited the Kyoto International Manga Museum, devoted to traditional and contemporary Japanese cartoons. Anyone can search for a cartoon on the Wall of Manga based on age, gender, and other standards. Later Explore Gion, Kyoto’s famous geisha district. Geishas and apprentices (as maiko) usually can be spotted walking to or from a social engagement at an ochaya teahouse. A better chance of glimpsing a geisha or maiko is by attending the early evening cultural show at the Gion Corner, where you and your kids can see Kyoto-style dance, flower arrangement, tea ceremony, and puppet play. Tokyo The atmosphere of Japan are startling big cities dazzle, bright lights. High-tech gadgets to the countryside towns of centuries old Japanese culture is was before and still here today. With geishas, zen rock gardens, and temples and shrines. Japan's vibrant pop culture is a huge attention grabber japan-visiting tourists. Including ground-breaking electronics we see today. Plus leading fashion and design items available there. Yet, beneath the brash modernity beats an ancient heart. Japan is still know for the unique art of the geisha and well trained sumo wrestler. Including lively age-old festivals that is celebrated. Plus, the yummy food I have see has been around for many ages. Japan is a land of huge natural beauty. The snow festivals and lavender farms of the northern isle of Hokkaido to the sun-drenched beaches and turquoise waters of the subtropical islands of Okinawa. Whether you choose to climb volcanic Mount Fuji or wander through the pine forest of Mount Koya, a journey to Japan is unforgettable. The history behind Kyoto The history of Tokyo began 400 years ago, was first called Edo, a city doing so well right after Tokugawa Ieyasu established the a way to make himself leader Permanente leader called the Tokugawa Shogunate in 1603. Ruler of the land, with a huge city populating to a million, and just in the middle of the 18th century; the Edo lasted ontill 260 years later, replaced by the Meiji Restoration in 1868. Tokugawa Shogunate was done and the imperial rule was going about. The next emperor moved to Edo ruling power, which was later renamed Tokyo, which later became a capital of Japan. Clothing in Kyoto This type of clothing is most popular warn by many Japanese people. On the left, most Japanese guys wear, the kimono, most traditionally worn by men living in Kyoto, Japan. On the right, some Japanese girls wear, the Geisha out fit of Kyoto, Geisha’s are performers from a rich family, most traditionally worn by most women living in Kyoto, very rare. Girls who are not geisha’s mostly wears a simple kimono, with very colorful and beautiful patterns, not so rare, but grabs a lot of peoples attention to who would want to wear this kimono. Clothing in Tokyo Not a lot of culture clothing is Tokyo city, but the outfit we see in images or pictures of girls or boys in Tokyo, Japan is what we see is a icon of fashion in most young people around the world today. Most girls wear outfits like HARAJUKU, SHIBUYA, and/or KOGAL. Most boys wear collar shirts with black jackets and pants. The best of tokyo Tokyo is one of the least cities of the world to be cramped, dirty, dangerous, or chaotic. The best and the most popular Japanese inventions like the Nintendo, sushi, DDR, and late karaoke, is what I find most carving for , yet I was shy and come to Japan not know what I was to expect. The Japanese are very nice welcomers to me, even if I was new or use to the Japanese custom either way. Tokyo, including other countries in Japan, are in the second decade, visit there in much more cheaper then any country in Europe. The good thing about visiting Tokyo for the first time Every sign in the excellent system is in both Japanese and English, so it is not one of the countries that you need much of a dictionary or translator to get around the cities. Tokyo is one of the best countries to have the best shopping areas to spend money. Anyone coming to Japan for the first time, would normally shop at the city of Harajuku, best starters. Yet I am more into shopping then the average person so I head up to Omotesando and north to Meiji jingo( Tokyo’s largest and most peaceful Shinto shrine), whose An unconsolidated mixture of rock fragments or pebbles cover the pathway and makes you want to feel as if you are stepping into another world, how delightful. Shibuya, or Tokyo’s time square, is more like a Soho (where a group of people gather for business or type of party), then a central portion of a city. Shibuya is filled with teenagers and young adults. If you are really into seafood as I am, then I hope you are willing to wake up 4am to go to Tokyo’s fish market, Tsukiji fish market, fish is one of Japanese diets. For art lovers, like my self, would be gladly go to the Hara Museum of Contemporary Art, holding many talents such as Miwa Yanagi. For a 53 stories building of art and design visit the Mori Museum of art, top of the Roppngi hills (retail), which opens to great fanfare in 2003. Plus having good hype with memorable and groundbreaking shows. The best of kyoto Kyoto is the crucible of many of Japan's traditional arts - there's no better place to sample the refined culture of kabuki (theatre) and the geisha (performer). The Gion district is the home of Minami-za , Japan's oldest kabuki theatre. If you were lucky to see The atmospheric back streets of Gion are where I likely saw geishas and maikos. The main shopping is found at the junction of Shijo-dori and Kawaramachi-dori with There dozens of craft shops just west of the river on nearby Sanjo-dori to the east where pottery and antiques are sold in the lanes leading up to Kiyomizu-dera temple. When sightseeing, Start in Kyoto's heart at the Imperial Park it is open daily and it’s free. At night when crazving for a drink for night out, The Gion and Pontocho districts are stuffed with bars and clubs, but with raditional izakayas, foreigners are often greeted with suspicion and may not get served (sadly). The best season to visit anywhere in Japan Autumn is a good super best time to travel, with pleasant temperatures and soothing colours of the autumn season; the autumn leave pattern reverses that of the sakura (left), starting in the north sometime in October and peaking across most of Honshū (right) around November. Kyoto in Autumn The best hotels in Japan Kyoto has very much best to do for those who are visiting and good tips to get around, with the best places. One of the most elegant hotels, for example, is one of the best hotels to be in, The excellent and cheaper Motonago Ryokan only charges Y10,000-Y20,000 per person (£50-£100) or for a more Western-style stay, Kyoto's top ranked hotel, the Westin Miyako, Sanjo, Keage, offers doubles from Y26,500 (£133). Tokyo’s the upmost best hotels (and the cheapest) is the three star Shinjuku Prince Hotel. located Right by Shinjuku Station and the Kabukicho nightlife, that can't be beat and awesome rooms in dark-colored hardwood that were restored in 2006. Tokyo in Autumn Plane tickets ,rides around Japan, and ect. cost in 2weeks A plan ticket to go to Orlando to Tokyo is about $370 ,same amount to come back to the unites states, equal’s to $740. A car/cab ride around the city is about $6.31 or 600-700 yens per ride, which would equal to $94.65.
