Registration/Information Desk
The registration/information desk will be located in the
Islander Ballroom D + E + I in Mandalay Bay’s North
Convention Center. Registration will be open at the following
times:
Sunday, January 29th Monday, January 30th Tuesday, January 31st
Wednesday, February 1st
7:00 am – 7:30 pm
7:00 am – 7:00 pm
7:00 am – 6:00 pm
7:00 am – 12:00 noon
Hotel Room Reservations
IFA has reserved room blocks at two hotels within the
Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino complex - Mandalay Bay
and Delano Las Vegas. Mandalay Bay is a 43-story luxury
resort offering elegant rooms that all have 42-inch flat-screen
TVs, seating areas, floor-to-ceiling windows and soaking
tubs; upgrades include living areas, wet bars and/or Bose
sound systems. Delano Las Vegas is on the north side of the
Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino complex. This hotel offers
chic, modern suites featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, separate
living rooms, and luxe bathrooms with soaking tubs and walkin showers. All have flat-screen TVs and iPod docks.

Be sure to book your reservations for #IFA2017 through the
above website and phone number, or directly through the
hotel of choice. If you have any questions, please call our
conferences department at 202-628-8000. Don’t be fooled by
offers from third party sources indicating that they are officially
booking rooms for the #IFA2017 convention - they are NOT
affiliated with IFA or our convention. Remember, if the offer
seems too good to be true, it probably is. At the very least,
prior to booking with a party other than through our website,
please check the prospective vendor’s rating at
www.bbb.org. Buyer beware, many of these offers are
fraudulent attempts to solicit money from you for a
non-existent reservation.
The room rates are as follows:
Mandalay Bay
January 28, 29, 30, 31 & February 1, 2: $184/night
Delano Las Vegas
January 28, 29, 30, 31 & February 1, 2: $232/night
Booking through the IFA room block also allows you to receive
a discounted resort fee of $12 per night which includes:
• In-room complimentary high speed internet access
• Daily newspaper available for pick up
• Complimentary printing of boarding passes and outgoing
faxes at the Hotel Business Center
• Unlimited local and toll free calls
• Complimentary daily access to the Cardio Center
Check-in is available after 3:00 pm and check-out is required
by 11:00 am. Any guest wishing to check in early will have
the option to pay an early check-in fee to secure a room before
10:00 am. The deadline for booking your room at Mandalay
Bay or Delano is January 5, 2017 (or when the room blocks
sell out, whichever comes first). All guests are responsible for
submitting a credit card number or a deposit equal to one
night’s room rate, plus tax and resort fee, as a guarantee at
the time the attendee makes the reservation. Deposits will be
refunded for rooms cancelled more than 48 hours prior to
arrival. All guaranteed reservations will be held until 6:00 am
only on the day after the attendee’s confirmed arrival date.
Hotel Information and Activities
Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino is located at 3950 S. Las
Vegas Blvd. On the south end of the Strip, this high-end
casino hotel is between The Four Seasons and Luxor. In
addition to a 135,000-square-foot casino, amenities include a
30,000 square foot, world-class spa and an 11-acre beach/
pool complex with a lazy river, wave pool and three-tiered
Beachside Casino. There’s also a shark aquarium, upscale
shopping, live shows, including Cirque du Soleil’s “Michael
Jackson One,” and destination dining. All property amenities
are open to guests staying at either Mandalay Bay or Delano

About Las Vegas
Las Vegas attracts more than 36 million visitors a year
by offering the grandest hotels, the biggest stars in
entertainment, the highest caliber of award-winning chefs
and master sommeliers and, of course, the brightest lights.

Airport Ground Transportation
The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino is located 6 miles from
the Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport (LAS). Regional
shuttles are available at the airport and they drop off at all the
major strip hotels. Mandalay Bay is usually either the very first
drop off or the very last drop off. Shuttles generally cost $8 $10 per person.
Varieties of shuttle/limousine services are available at LAS,
and are located on the north and west sides of baggage
claim, outside door exits 8-14. For limousine service, please
contact the concierge at 877-305-3136.
Taxicabs are available outside the airport terminal on the
east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1-4, at
an approximate fare of $20 one way. Taxicabs are also
available at the McCarran Rent-A-Car Center.
If you are interested in renting a car, you can take a shuttle
to the McCarran Rent-A-Car Center. From baggage claim,
follow signs to ground transportation on Level 1. Proceed
to the rental car shuttle located at the center median outside
doors 10 and 11. A full list of rental car companies can be

Center, call 702-261-6001. Self-parking or valet parking is
available to guests upon arrival at the Mandalay Bay Resort
& Casino; self-parking is currently $10 and valet parking is
currently $18 (prices subject to change on arrival).
What to Pack
“Business casual” attire is the order of the day. Please keep
in mind that meeting rooms tend to be cool, so you may be
more comfortable with a jacket. We also advise that you
wear comfortable shoes. Jeans are discouraged except during
exhibitor set-up and dismantle hours.
Weather Report
In late January/early February, average daily temperatures
are about 60 degrees Fahrenheit high and 36 degrees
Fahrenheit low.
