MANUFACTURING COMPANY
The manufacturing company, based in Salizzole near Verona
(Italy), was founded in 2002 by Mirko Sguerzoni to work
alongside SKM, the first brand born ten years before. It has
grown phenomenally thanks to the practical and theoretical
background of Sguerzoni and it becomes one of the leading
kart producers in the World.
THE CORE BUSINESS:
The core business of the company is the projection and
production of go-kart chassis and spare parts, all the products
are manufactured internally and are completely MADE IN
ITALY.
THE PHILOSOPHY:
The philosophy adopted to manage the production is to
select the best quality of the raw materials, that before the
large production, are tested in order to guarantee the best
performance and reliability at the track.
THE MISSION:
The mission is offer to the market high technological products
of the best quality and the best service of customer care.
Intrepid is very proud of its consolidate World-wide dealers
that is involved in all the promotional actions with the goal to
grow-up the prestige of the brand in each Country.
Intrepid is present in more than 40 Countries and, of course,
the Intrepid dealer is the point of reference for all the
passionate of Intrepid. The official Intrepid dealer is easily

recognizable because its brand is formed of: Intrepid + the
name of the Country represented. Intrepid invites each dealer
to follow the guide line of the head office using the Intrepid
design for the web-site and all the promotional means.
Intrepid strength point is the constant technological
development up to the most demanding International
competitions. In order to offer competitive and innovative
chassis, Intrepid fully concentrates in finding out forefront
solutions and emerging technologies thanks to a team made
up of top level technicians, engineers and the director Mirko
Sguerzoni.
The company business structure is formed of:

with machineries that create the best raw materials to product
the high technological range of spare parts and chassis.
- Assembly dpt.
in which qualified personnel pre-assemble the chassis and all
the accessories;
- Technical dpt.
to project the innovations and for the products quality control;
- Commercial dpt.
to sell the products all around the World and to guarantee the
best service and assistance;
- Promotional dpt.
to be up-dated with the medias, to organize the sporting
events and to promote the brand in the motorsport;
- Racing team dpt.
to develop the products with concrete test and races with the
aim to find the best technical solutions;
- Drivers Scouting dpt. to be constantly in contact with
the youngest and most talented drivers and help
them to reach the maximum levels.
Moreover, Intrepid is constantly searching for new talents
and for this reason avail oneself of the collaboration of the
World wide dealers network. All the dealers have to continue
the guideline of the head office respecting the philosophy
and organizing a racing team to race in the most important
national championships. In this way, each dealer can recognize
the best national drivers, from 12 to 15 years old, that will be
recommended to Intrepid and insert in the International Top
Drivers Selection.
Intrepid idealized the International Top Drivers Selection to
offer to the drivers a real occasion to put themselves to the
test in several technical conditions and under the supervision
of important professionals of the motorsport.
The goal of this project is offer to the best drivers two
important chances:
1- To become part of the Intrepid Official Junior Team;
2- To be under the supervision of the best Formula 1
teams thanks to the prestigious connections that
Intrepid created in the past years.
Since 2009, Intrepid tested in Lonato (South Garda Karting
– Italy) around 150 junior drivers coming from all over the
World, the best ones have been part of the Junior Team and,
now a day, are under contract with Red Bull, Lotus or Ferrari.
The major representatives of this program are Sebastién
Buemi, Jaime Alguersuari and Jules Bianchi.
In this perspective, Intrepid involves all the business partners
in this International program to create interest in the youngest
drivers that are the future of Karting, as for their career as
future buyers of Intrepid karts.

2014: INTREPID RACING SEASON
SATELLITE TEAMS: The Satellite Teams are the teams
created by the Intrepid dealers to promote the brand.
The Teams take part to the National Championships of
each Country and, when there are the prerequisites,
Intrepid supports the most talented drivers supplying
the materials in order to help them to attend the races
and to promote the Intrepid chassis.
OFFICIAL RACING TEAM: The Intrepid Official
Racing Team takes part to the most important
International Championship of the CIK FIA and WSK
(around 10-12 races each season) in the classes: KF
Junior, KF and KZ.
The KF Junior is formed of 4/5 emergent drivers, of 13
years old, coming from all over the World;
The KF is formed of 2 drivers, emergent but with good
experience;
The KZ is formed of 2 professional drivers and 1 young
driver with the main goal to develop the chassis,
promote the brand with high results and test the
materials before each race.
The Team is managed by a director, in charge from
the head office, that is at disposal of all the dealers
to promote the technical developments and guarantee
the best support.
OFFICIAL ROTAX TEAM: The Team takes part to the
Rotax Winter Cup, the Euro Challenge and to the Open
International and its directly managed by Intrepid.
The Official structure will be present on the circuits to
support the 8 drivers that will join the classes: Rotax
Junior, Rotax Senior and Rotax DD2.
The Team is managed by a director, in charge from
the head office, that is at disposal of all the dealers
to promote the technical developments and guarantee
the best support.

The “Minikart” chassis Mod. CUB-1 is the best expression of the Intrepid
know-how in the Mini60 category. The chassis is composed entirely of
Ø28mm tubes and it’s available in version with wheel base 900mm or
950mm. The frame is characterized from a single curve in the central
part, it works very well in the high grip conditions and it’s very easy to
adapt to all the track.
The standard line is furnished complete of hydraulic brake system and
easy-fitting pedals system.

Intrepid SCOUT is the “chassis for kids”, from 7 to 9 years old, it has been
studied and realized in order to satisfy all children’s needs. The Scout has
been manufactured paying great attention to every single detail, so that
the youngest drivers can enjoy themselves in a thoughtless and safe way,
it’s made entirely of tubes with a diameter of 25mm.
The Scout chassis with wheelbase of 780mm is furnished complete of
engine mod. HONDA GX35.

Minikart chassis Mod. CUB-2
POLARIUS is composed by a frame realized with Ø 28mm tubes in
molybdenum chrome steel with 1010mm wheelbase, suitable for drivers
from 10 to 12 years old. It’s the intermediate chassis and is projected for
the Nordic Countries. With reference to each country regulations, it can
be supplied with Ø30mm or Ø40mm axle. Moreover, it’s recommend for
the Rotax Minimax category.
The “Minikart” chassis Mod. CUB-2 is the best expression of the Intrepid
know-how in the Mini60 category. The chassis is composed entirely by
Ø28mm tubes and it’s available in versions with wheel base 900mm or
950mm. The frame is characterized from two curves in the central part and
it’s idealized on the base of the top range of Intrepid chassis, the “Raptor”.

in consideration of the weight and the velocity, so, under the same design and homologation, Intrepid proposes two different frames: one adapt for the KF and one for the KZ.
The Raptor chassis is furnished complete of: homologated brake system that can be chosen
according to the category in which is used, original Intrepid spare parts, magnesium wheel
rims, bodyworks kit and design stickers.
This chassis is the major evolution and representation of the Intrepid know-how and , on
request, it can be personalized with the magnesium range of spare parts.
The Sirius V chassis is composed by a frame realized with Ø32-30mm tubes in molybdenum chrome steel and it’s available in the versions for the categories: KF Junior, KF with
front brake system and KZ with gearbox. The frames are studied to satisfy the needs of
each class, in consideration of the weight and the velocity, so, under the same design
and homologation, Intrepid proposes two different frames: one adapt for the KF and
one for the KZ.

The chassis mod. STORM is for the adults that
are going to approach the go-kart being sure
that the product is a top quality manufactured in conformity with the Intrepid’ production criteria. This chassis is the pass-key to the
Karting world on the primary level and for the
hobby drivers. The STORM Chassis is offered
with a low-cost price in order to give to everybody the opportunity to come into this sport.
The manufacturing philosophy of STORM
KART is referred to the standardization and to
the economies of scale obtained setting up
the production exclusively on high quantities,
in fact the minimum order required is of 20
chassis.

The CARBON line of spare parts derives
from the high technology and experience
ripened by Formula 1 in making of the composite materials.
The carbon range of accessories permits to
reduce extraordinary the weight of the kart

Technical matters:
During the race, the ceramic disc offers big advantages to the braking efficacy. This is possible thanks to the lower
operating temperature.
Lightness: -70% on standard weight.
During the acceleration, the ceramic rear disc gives immediate advantages applying a lower weight on the rotating mass.
During the lock in the fastest bends, the front ceramic disc, used on the KZ - KF model, helps the gyroscopic effect.
Sold individually too.
KIT TITANIUM SCREWS
The elevated technology of the titanium
screws offers the possibility to lower the total
weight of the kart by approximately 1.6 Kg.
The kit includes the complete range of screws
necessary to assemble a complete chassis
(including accessories).
Available in versions: KZ, KF, KF FRM (on
request: special pieces with different
characteristics).
NEW ADJUSTABLE PEDALS SYSTEM
NEW ADJUSTABLE PEDALS SYSTEM for KF
The new pedals system has been studied for the drivers that, even if they have
the required age to race in the Junior categories, aren’t so high. This adjustable
system gives the possibility to retreat the position of the legs and the feet without modify the barycenter of the driver.
The system is product in aluminum from the solid.
NEW FRONT HUB WITH DISC SUPPORT
The new front wheel hub is realized with the integral regulation system that
permits to increase the grip on the limber. It’s adapt for the KF and KZ categories and it’s available in the aluminum and magnesium versions (on request).
