this booklet is a short illustration
of our work - from the first simple pieces
to real literary attempts.
For us to keep as a memory of our English
studies and for everyone around to enjoy,

MY FOOD
by Jakub Černý
My favourite food is chicken nuggets and
spaghetti, and my favourite drink is Coke.
I also like ice cream and chocolate.
I really hate cabbage and I do not like spinach,
but I like apples and peaches.
When I was small, I liked spinach.
I really like strawberries and oranges.
On Monday I eat grapes and yoghurt. On Saturday
my mum makes cous cous with carrots or peas.
For breakfast I have muesli with hot milk and
honey.
Lunch at school is yucky. I don't like school lunch.
My favourite sweets are lollies and chewing gum.
I also eat edible paper. I do not eat vanilla.
I love water.

CIRCUS

Mike is a circus director. In his caravan the snake
is on the TV. The frog is in the box. The elephant
is on the box and the mouse is on the table. The
parrot is in the shoe. The mini lion is under the bin.
JACK, the chocolate monster, lives in the circus.
He gets up at half past six. He eats lots of
chocolate. On Monday Jack eats fifty-four
bananas. On Tuesday he eats thirty-one apples.
On Wednesday he eats forty carrots. On Thursday
and Friday and Saturday he eats six thousand ants.
On Sunday he sits on the toilet.

I haven't got a brother or a sister, but I have got
lots
of friends. My best friend‟s name is Honza.
I play football with him.
I am good at football. I am good at swimming
and running too. I can ride a bike. I am not very
good at volleyball and I can't play tennis, ride
a horse or play the piano.
I like playing with LEGO – CITY, STAR WARS...
I like collecting comics. I have god lots of comics
with Donald Duck. I have got about ninety nine.
I collect American postcards too. I have got
postcards of New York, Hollywood and L.A.

ALIENS FROM THE EARTH

My name is Urbetlam. I live in Urun. That’s on Venus, of course.
I look like a normal person from Venus (orange and red).
One day I walked along the streets in Urun. But... BANG...
In front of me landed a UFO. The door opened and a big pink
man
came out. He said: “Hello, alien, I’m from the Earth.“
I had a shock and I didn’t say a word.
He shrugged his shoulders
and went to his rocket.
And the spaceship
flew back to the Earth.
FORTUNATELY.

HALF A MAGIC GRAPE

One day I walked along a street and I met an old woman.
I said to her: “Good morning.“ She smiled at me and gave me
half a grape. My parents always told me: “Never take things that
strangers give you.“ But when I took the half of the grape, I
heard: “Eat the grape, say what you want to be and for an hour
you will be it.“
I ate half of the magic grape and I said: “I want to be a bird.“
Then I changed into a bird. I was happy and I wanted to fly but
behind a tree was a cat. And the cat wanted to eat me. I ran or
flew (I don’t know) to a park. But the cat ran after me...
For one hour the cat was following me around the park. Fortunately,
when the clock struck one, I changed into me again.
And the cat had bad luck.

Friday 13th

It was Friday 13th. You know… It’s a horrible day.
Two children - Patrick and Jessica - saw a castle on the hill.
All the people said: “It’s the horrible castle, don’t go there!!!“
Patrick and Jessica wanted an adventure. So they went in. They
opened the big door. They went straight ahead. There was a big
ghost standing in front of them. They got a shock! The ghost
shouted. The ghost had a lock on his neck. The children thought
the ghost was good. So they went for the key from his lock and
opened his lock. The ghost was very happy. The ghost and the
children are now friends.
Every Friday the children go to the castle to see the ghost.

My very good friend
My best friend´s name is Barča Biskupová. She is eleven years
old.
She is very clever. She is good at sports and at painting. She likes
tigers very much. We sometimes listen to music. We play with
modelling clay. She and I like animals. We play together a game
called Citadela. It is a good game. We go together to our English
lessons (The Redbrick House). We go to the same class.
She never lets me down and she never laughs at me.
Mascot
My mascot is a grey sheep.
My grandmother brought it
to me from Italy. The sheep
is in my bed but I never take
it to school. I love it!
My sheep is long
(about 35 cm-I think).
Her ears are dark. The face
is light yellow (white). The kind
of ŃICI´. When I go to sleep
this sheep is next to me...
My brother has a mascot too.
It’s a soft toy Kuky (my brother´s
name is Lukáš and his friends call
him Kuky...). I gave it to him
for his birthday. He likes it very much.

The Super UFO dog

When I came back from school, I saw my dog behind the
house and he had green fur, a super collar with a space phone
and he said: “Bow, sir, here is agent Puppy, the world
takeover can start, sir! Bow.“
I ran into my house, ran into my room and locked the door.
The “Puppy“ was there. When we had a talk, I understood,
they don’t want to destroy us but they are in a war with other
dogs, with our world dogs, the World Takeover was the name
of his mission.

My walk home

When I first went home from school, horrible things
happened to me. I had my first lunch in the school
canteen. The cooks gave me some earthworms and
snails on the plate. I asked them if they had anything
better to eat than this. They asked me: “Do you want
some more?”
I quickly got out of the room and rushed to the
cloakroom. Bad news was waiting for me there. My
jacked was covered in slime and my shoes were
filled up with water. I rather went home only in my Tshirt, though it was only 11oC.
Then I went to the train station. At the ticket office a
giant monster snapped at me. It had 10 eyes and 25
hands. I ran to the platform. I got on the train and I
met the conductor. He looked quite normal, but then
he called: “Tickets, please!” and I said: “I haven’t got
a ticket.” He got furious and started yelling at me.
Then he jumped out of the train.
As the train stopped, I ran towards my home. Just in
front of our garden, I fell down. All the monsters from
the street jumped at me. They wanted to eat me and
then…
…then my alarm clock started to ring.

Sir Gundolf

Sir Gundolf was dead for a long time. Very, very, very
long time.
One day Susan and Peter went to an old castle. In an
old kitchen they saw a ghost. They were horrified.
Peter computed
and he found out that the ghost was Sir Gundolf. He
was angry and he had a heart attack. He fell on the
floor !!!!!!

THE DEAD CAT

The bag was gone. Mr. Barton went to bed and he slept. Next day
he was in a bad mood and he turned his head. He saw his dead
cat. He had a shock. He went to his car and he went to the police
station. They spoke with him and took him to a mental hospital.
This happened three years ago.
Magic

I had a magic hand. It was great. One day I said: Í want
to be a house.´ And I was a house. But I couldn´t
transform back to Linda. I was sad. This was my end in
my last life.

Magic oranges

The old lady gave me three oranges. You ate
one of them. Suddenly you were small. My
neighbour ate one of them too and he turned
big. My Biology teacher had one too. She
became fat. Two weeks later you, my
neighbour and my teacher drank some magic
apple juice. After six months you and they
were normal size, but not intelligent.

The UFO story

A UFO went into outer space. They saw two
children. Their names were John and Clara. Clara
was singing and John was playing the flute. The
UFO could sing too. The spacemen thought that
they caught two robbers. They were scared.
Suddenly they saw a horse. The horse ran behind
them. They ran to their UFO and they flew away.
John and Clara went home because they had
dinner.

HERO FROM MY DREAM

Me and my family lived on a small planet Giovara. One year
people from the Alliance of Death came to our planet and
they killed all the people on Giovara. My father
constructed a small spaceship for me. I named the
spaceship Vendetta.
I escaped and landed on another planet and there
I upgraded my spaceship. Vendetta had two rocket
cannons, four laser cannons and one big plasma cannon.
With these cannons I destroyed all the spaceships of the
Alliance of Death. People celebrated me and I was proud.
”Get up now!!!!” my mother shouted. It was only a dream!!

The bag was destroyed because the cat was an alien cat.
The cat would eat Mr Burton, but it didn't do this,
because a superman turned up and killed the cat and
threw it into the biggest ocean in the world.
In year 2 000 000:
The cat turned up in the ocean. The cat went to the
nearest city and ate all people in the city. The cat
destroyed all the cities in the world. No one stopped it,
so this was the end of the world.
KING OF MAGICIANS

Gertrud was a king of magicians and he had very big
power. With this power he stole the strongest book of
magic in the world. With the book he was even stronger.
Now he wanted to attack the very strong dragon. When
he went to the dragon’s cave, the dragon was asleep.
Gertrud tried his first attack. The dragon had antimagic skin. The magic went back to Gertrud, and it
killed him.

Three magic diskettes

The old man gave me three magic diskettes.
I inserted the first diskette into my notebook and
I wrote: I want to be famous. After a while,
reporters and cameramen ran to me. I was
already tired, so I put another diskette into the
notebook and I wrote: I do not want to be
famous. I want to be a film stuntman. But then
I got bored too. Finally, I had only one diskettes
left, but what to write? I want to be what I was
before, I wrote. I changed into myself. I was
happy.

! UFO !

Last year, when I was on my way home, a big grey UFO
landed in front of me! The door opened and a thin blue
man came out. He went to my house and to my family.
"Where do you want to go?" he asked.
"Please take me to a planet in outer space," I said.
Three weeks later, we landed on a little red planet.
There were lots of thin blue people. I stayed with them
for four weeks and I learned how to be blue.
They sometimes visit me in my bedroom.

The child bit his parents and they turned into werewolves.

My morning

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, we have no more toilet
paper, what shall we do now? I have a dirty bum!“
Out of the blue, there was an alien next to the toilet.
“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, there is an alien, he looks
like my sister in the morning.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, it is my sister in the
morning!“
“Yes I am in the shower“, she said “And who is this???“
And she pointed at the toilet. There was an alien and
said:
“I am Alza, hihihi!!!“

The visitors from Mars

One day, when I went home, a spaceship landed next to me.
In the space ship there were three aliens... the aliens said to
me: “You have to go to our planet Mars.”
I didn't know what I was doing. After five minutes I went to
the ship.
Two years later we landed on planet Mars. Near the ship
there were lots of aliens and they said: “kill you” and one
alien had a knife in his hand and he killed me...
Suddenly my mum went to my room and said:
“Vojta, get up and go to the school.”
I´m very happy, because it was only dream...
The dead cat

The bag was lost for five days. The people couldn´t find it.
Five days later, the cat turned up and people had a shock.
Some people had a heart attack. The bag was magic and the
cat did not die because it was hard asleep.

THE STUPID MAN

There was one man called Steve and he was afraid of
dogs.
One day, Steve went home and there was a dog. The
dog followed him... Steve went to a magic shop and the
old lady there sold him a magic coin. He stopped being
afraid of the dog. One day, he bought an ice cream and
paid by his magic coin. He met the dog... He had a
shock and ran away. He started to be afraid of dogs
again...

Zombies

While I was playing a computer game, I was on a little
island. When I was digging a big hole for coal and soil,
my friend came to me and said: “We have got big
problem. The night is coming and at night the zombies
come!!!”
”Oh my god, what shall we do?” I asked him.
”We need to dig a cave and hide there,” he said.
“Ok, let´s dig a cave,“ I said to him.
When the cave was all ready we went to sleep.
Two weeks later we saw something in the sky. It was
a spaceship. We built a runway, the ship arrived and we
were saved.

with her. A man came to the garden - he was from
Sammy´s Fast Food. He took the cat to the fast food
and made new delicious food called Hot Cat.

Harry the dog

very, very, very spooky. Harry got up. He drank some
water and went to sleep again. He had again a very,

a UFO, a magic machine and

of him he saw a very, very, very
big dinosaur.
Three coins
Carol is very, very, very, angry because her best
friends were out with some other people.
An old lady gave her three coins. Carol threw the first
coin behind her. She got a new bicycle. Carol threw the
second coin behind her. She got a new room.
Carol threw the third coin. She lost everything.
The end!!!

Steve and the dog
Steven walked along the street. He was afraid
of dogs. He went to the magician and she gave
him a coin.
The dog was still there. Then the dog looked at
the coin and went away.
Steven bought an ice cream with the coin. He met
the dog and because he was afraid of dogs again,
he ran away and dropped his ice cream.
The dog looked at the ice cream and ate it.

have a special gun and have a batmobile. I would be

THE INVASION OF ALIENS

One day, I came home. Then I saw an alien spaceship.
They were armed. I ran to our army basement. The army
sent tanks at them. The aliens destroyed the tanks. They
wanted to take over the world.
The army and me attacked them and we won.

Steve’s way to work

It looked like a normal day but Steve met a big dog on his way to
work. Steve was afraid of dogs, so he ran to the Magic shop. The
shopkeeper (an old woman) asked Steve: „Can I help you?‟ and
Steve said: „No ... I‟m ... I‟m afraid of dogs.‟ The shopkeeper just
laughed and gave him a magic coin and said: „Here is a coin. When
the dog sees it, it will run away.‟ „Thank you very much!‟ Steve said
and left the shop. The dog was hiding a few meters away. When
Steve saw it, the dog started to run, so Steve took the coin and
showed it to the dog. When the dog saw it, it ran away and Steve
laughed and said: „Who‟s big now?‟ Steve bought an ice-cream for
his magic coin. He was going to eat it but he met the dog again.
Steve didn‟t have the coin, so he quickly ran away and his ice-cream
fell on the ground. The dog thought: „I‟m big,„ and ate the icecream.

Linux 0.0.1 Magician Edition

Once upon a time there was a magician with the oldest computer in
the world. His name was Linus and he was searching for new spells.
Suddenly his computer said: „New version of BIOS was successfully installed, reboot now?‟ Linus clicked on „Yes‟ and his
computer started to reboot. Meanwhile, Linus was going to the
toilet. When he came back, he saw this message: „Please, insert
the floppy disk with the operating system.‟ Linus was very angry
because he didn‟t have that floppy disk and the geek shop with that
floppy disk was on the other side of the ocean. Linus was too lazy
to say the teleport spell,
so he started to program a new operating system in language C#. It
took a few days to do it, but he finally did it and he was very proud.
Now he was able to continue searching new spells. And that‟s how
the kernel of Linux was born.

My mascots

My mascots are two golden coins. On the coins there are
gold angels. On one coin the angel is holding a blue
crystal and the other angel is holding a red or pink crystal.
The angel with the red crystal gives me Harmony and the
other angel gives me Luck.
I always have them in my right pocket. Sometimes I put
them on my forehead because then their powers have
better effect.
Sports

I am lazy but I like snowboarding. But I like games like
Scrabble or Activity. I like drawing pictures too. I draw
every day, because I want to be better. But I want to be
a writer. But that is not the issue. And I do gymnastics.
I like it. We have lessons twice a week. I won many
competitions but I was always the second. But finally, this
year I defeated my rival and I was the FIRST!!!

The magic chocolate

I went into town and one old girl said: “Here you are,”
and gave me some chocolate. The chocolate was
magic. I ate it and the chocolate changed me into
a pop singer. At night I sang in a good club. All the
people said: “You are very famous!”
I was very proud! But this magic was just for one
day.

Mystery house

We were moving from London to Stoke Wake. I detest
living in the country. My parents promised a super
house for our family. They were lying. The house was
terrible but even more terrible were our neighbours.
It was the worst. First day I was killing mice in my
room, my family were killing too. At 12:10 we had
a lunch break. In the evening, my family went for
a walk through the forests around our new house.
I stayed at home. I was very angry because I hated the
house. When they went out, it was getting dark and I
felt nervous when the phone rang. I picked it up….
it was my grandma. The phone fell down and broke, it
was a mystery - I wasn´t doing anything wrong. My
parents weren´t back. It was scary. The neighbours
were now in our living room with my father´s head in
their hands. I started crying. They were going to kill
me.
Then I woke up. It was a dream.
Next day my dad said: “We are moving in a month!”

Music

My favourite music genres are grunge and
metal. I started listening to these genres when
I was 9 years old. I have been listening to
these genres for four years.
My favourite bands are: Gunsń´Roses,
Nirvana, Metalica, Deep Purple, Cream,
Lynyrd Skynyrd. I like these bands because
their music is inventive. I like to listen at my
computer because I search music on the
Internet. I don’t like genres like hip hop or rap.
They are stupid.
I have been playing the guitar for two years.

THE MIDNIGHT
AEROPLANE

Once upon a time a plane (the AIR FORCE
ONE) flew somewhere above Columbia.
The American Special Unit was practicing in
the sky. The parachutists from SEALS hit the
plane and died. The president of the USA had
a problem with his stomach because the head
of one of the men fell to Mr. Obama´s
window... His plane started to fall down
because one of the parachutists got stuck in
the left jet engine. Mr. Obama died tragically,
but in the hearts of all the Americans he
LIVES FOREVER!!!

The empty house

In one small village there was an abandoned house on the hill. Every
night weird things happen there and weird noises come from the
house. Some people think that ghosts are in there, others think that it
is buildt on an Indian cemetery and others think it is haunted by the
man who used to live there. He was killed, but no one knows how.
One cold night another murder happened, so a detective came to
investigate. He asked many people but all of them told him the same
thing: “I don´t know anything about it but I think it is connected to
the murder of the man in the house on the hill.“ He was curious
about the old case so much that he wanted to investigate in the
house. So he went there.
When he entered the house, the door immediately closed behind
him. He was scared. Suddenly, he heard some weird noises from
upstairs. He went there slowly. He saw some weird red eyes behind
the window. He screamed and ran down the stairs but unfortunately
the old stairs fell down when he stepped on them. He was
unconscious. When he woke up, he found himself in a crypt. He
stood up and tried to open the door of the crypt but he could not
open it. He suddenly heard growling of some animal and something
tore him apart…
Then he woke up and found it was only a dream. When he got out of
his bed and looked in the mirror, he saw scars on his body.
Maybe, just maybe, it was not a dream…

MUSIC

I like a many styles of music, for example: rockń´roll, OI,
punk, trash metal, heavy metal, techno and reggae. I´ve
liked these styles for a few years and I won´t stop listening
to them. My favourite singers are Bon Scott, Brian
Johnson, Marilyn Manson and Ozzy Osbourne.
My favourite bands are Rammstein, Operace Artaban,
Wohnout, AC/DC, Landser, System of a Down, Metallica,
Deep Purple, The Doors, Dropkick Murphys, KoRn,
Krucipüsk, Megadeth, Twisted Sister and Led Zeppelin.
I like listening to music at many places: on the bus, in the
car, when I am walking,
at school, at home, before I go to sleep. Music is really
great.

The empty house

It was 10 pm and a black cat was going through the
dark forest. But the cat wasn't normal.
Meanwhile, a woman was going through the forest.
She was looking for the house where there might be
some ghosts because she wanted to see the ghosts.
When she found the house and went into it, the black
cat was looking at her. The woman went to the room
which was probably a room of some young girls
because there were four beds and the walls were
pink. But nobody was there, and in the other rooms
there was nobody either.
While she was looking into the living room, the black
cat was looking at her. But somebody else was
looking to her too – it was a ghost. When the woman
saw the ghost, she started to run, but the cat jumped
at her and scratched her in the face and in the eye.
The woman fainted. She woke up while some ghosts
were looking at her. There was something really
strange about them – everyone had a scratch in their
face and didn't have one eye. One week later
someone wrote in the newspaper “A dead woman
was found in the dark forest, at the empty house,
nobody knows how she died and nobody knows who
did it. But there is something strange – the woman
has a scratch in her face.”

Strange dream

Suddenly, my doorbell rang and the postman was standing near
my house. He knocked at my door. He gave me a letter. In the
letter someone wrote: You won a prize. You can arrive to at a
palace and in the palace there are

I was fifteen years old! I was swimming in a pool with sharks.
It was very, very strange because sharks aren't my cup of tea.
Suddenly my

licked my head. So I woke up.

MUSIC

My favourite music is jazz, reggae and pop music. I don't like
metal or heavy metal. It's like vomiting. I like fast music, but
slow one is good too, it is relaxing.
My favourite music groups are Beatles, Abba, Queen, Green
day, etc. My favourite singers are Barry White, Leonard
Cohen, Michael Jackson, Katy Perry...
For example Cohen has a lot of popular slow songs.
I play the piano, but I am not good.
I listen to music a lot on the radio and in the car and sometimes
in bed.

Černošice is a small and nice town near the Prague. It has
leafy, coniferous and mixed forests.
A lot of well-known Czech personalities lived in this town, for
example Mr. Foglar, J. Werich, Mrs. Martinova and the airman
Lhota... There is an old church and a chapel.
Regrettably, every year there are floods in our town.
We have two schools and maybe four kindergartens.
I have lots of friends here, so we sometimes go to sweetshops
and skating to the winter stadium (ice rink)!
When the robbers steal, the police arrive! Because near my
school is a police station. Černošice has a new mayor!
There are markets every years! People buy a lots of things
here. I like it!!!

The Midnight Train

Once there was a man. They called him ‘The
KILLER‘. But he made a mistake and the
policemen arrested him and they executed
him. But once a time he woke from the dead.
He was calming down by killing on trains.
But once a boy was born. He was destined
to vanquish the Evil and when he reached
eighteen years of age, he bumped into the
Killer.
It was a long fight but the boy won. He found
out something horrible, but nobody knows
now what it was,... maybe something about
his parents. As I said, nobody knows. BUT...
He turned to the Evil side and started to kill
good people and creatures.
Somebody found out that The KILLER
possessed him.
So he was raging again.

I got in my very old, slow and rusty car. I drove to the
party. A green luminous dog ran into the frozen road. I saw
the light, and I was afraid.
I tried to stop, but my car fell into pieces. I lost control of
the pieces of my car. I hit a monumental oak.

I felt nervous when the phone rang. I was sitting
in a small dark house when it rang. I didn‟t know
how I got there but I was there. The only thing
that I wanted was to learn how I could get out of
the house.
The house was familiar to me. Soon I had an
idea: it was the house of my old friend from
school, but with no windows or doors. The only
windows that I found were in the old computer
but the computer didn‟t have the Internet
connection. I was walking through the house and
the phone rang again. Then all the shapes were
lost in the dark.
Finally, I woke up to a sunny day and saw seven
missed calls on my mobile phone.
It was ten o‟clock and I wasn‟t at school.

Music

I listen to music every day but only when I am
alone, for example when I go to or from school.
I think that talking with friends is better than just
listening to something. But sometimes we go to
a concert. Already we have been to the Club Kino
to listen to the Czech band Totální nasazení. It is
a bad club but the band is very good.
I prefer Czech bands and I like bands from other
countries too, like The Who, Red Hot Chili Peppers
(they are good because they sing in a lot of styles)
and lots of others. There is a wide scale of music
styles that I like, but I prefer the bass in new songs
and old songs are super if there is the trumpet.

The UFO treasure

And that was the last time I saw the world.
A UFO kidnapped me and took me to
a prison in the middle of the Milky Way.
The prison was cold and dark. I wanted to
escape from the prison, but there were
guards, so I had to dig a tunnel.
When I was digging the tunnel, I found
a treasure. I escaped and I was very, very
rich. One day I jumped into the sea, but there
wasn't any sea. So I killed myself. And I was
happy, because it was really amazing.
In my next life, I was born as a poor worm.
I ate humus all the day and I couldn't be
happier!

The mysterious cave

Long, long time ago, in a far galaxy, there was an
empty cave. There was a village nearby, and the
villagers said that ghosts were there.
One day a big adventurer Kristoforo Mendelssohn
came to the village, and he was very interested in
that cave.
He was born in a forest, without any parents. All he
had was an axe and a picture of his mother. She
was very beautiful.
Once he went to that village, he promised that he
will stay there all night long. The villagers
arranged his funeral immediately and they said he
was a mad man! He laughed at them and packed
his rucksack. In the evening, he went to the cave
and he ate his dinner. As he was eating a sausage,
he heard something screaming, like:
“UUUUIIAAAAAAYYYY...WRRRRRR...!“
He thought it was a wolf howling outside, so he ate
the sausage quickly. Suddenly, he saw something

dark coming towards to him. He picked his axe
quickly and threw it at the creature. He hit it and it
fell down dead.
He looked at the creature. It was his mother. She
wasn't very beautiful because she lived in that cave
without a shower, toilet or other modern
inventions. She was dead and he was very sad that
he didn't even speak to her.
But he slept in that cave and the villagers
pronounced him the new king of their village. They
also gave him a new mother and they put her into
the cave, but they gave some toilet paper and a
shower to her, so everybody was happy.
After some time, their planet was destroyed by
Darth Vader´s Death Star.

and I spent a lot of money for it. I really like it and

auction for funny 1.5 million. I was really angry
about it. They sent me to prison for three years.
And that was the last time I saw it.

out but the whole street was dark...

A Mystery Call

I felt nervous, when the phone rang. I went to the
phone and picked it up. On the phone was a
mysterious voice. She told me: Ï‟m coming to you
tonight.¨
I was very scared because I didn‟t know who she
was and what she wanted. I watched TV, but I
didn‟t forget about the mystery call. Then I wanted
to walk my dog but I was really nervous and I
looked around all the time. Ten minutes later I ran
home and locked the door.
At ten o‟clock I went to bed. I didn‟t sleep very
long. After an hour the doorbell rang. I took the
baseball bat and went to the door. I opened it very
slowly. And in the shadow was a mystery person...
Then the person walked into the light and I was
really surprised. It was my grandmother! She
wanted to surprise me. I forgot about my birthday.

The midnight train

We were sitting at the station, when the train came.
The door couldn´t open, so Adéla knocked at it and the
door suddenly opened. The conductor was lying on the
floor and he was cutting his hand. When he saw us, he
took his wife´s gun and shot his head through.
We went upstairs and we sat down. The train was
empty. It started to move. When it stopped at
Vrazdilkov, some zombies came in. We were eating
popcorn and watching a film (Zombieland), we were
laughing out loud, so they heard us. They had green
skin,
yellow teeth because of smoking
and drinking alcohol, red eyes
and if you looked at their belly,
you could even see their ribs...
They had axes and knives
in their hands. We jumped up
and started to run.
We didn´t want to fight because
we were too afraid. We finally
got to the toilets. We went in

and Petra quickly closed the door. The zombies were
trying to get in. Soon they were so tired they left us at
the toilet and went back to our seats. We heard some
noise. We found out that they were watching
Zombieland on our laptop. Petra didn´t want to wait
anymore. She left the room and went to the zombies.
She watched the film with them. Adéla soon came out
too and walked towards Petra. When the zombies fell
asleep, Petra took the laptop and we ran away. We left
the train and the poor zombies sleeping in it. We both
hope we will never see them again...

I wanted to give my best friend a surprise, but I had no
idea. I thought about that for a long time, but I didn´t
come up with anything good and cool.
I still haven´t told you why I wanted to give her a surprise.
She had been on a trip around the world and she came
back after one year.
Now, when you know why I wanted to give her the
surprise, I should go back to my story.
One day, I finally had an idea! Me and my friends
prepared her house for a party. When the big day
came, me and all her friends hid in one room of her
house and turned off the lights.
She came home and tried to switch on the lights, but
nothing happened. She stopped on the spot and tried
to listen carefully if someone wasn´t in her house.
Everybody was as quite as they could.
But something was wrong. Suddenly, someone began
screaming, everybody knew that it wasn´t a part of the
surprise…

The alarm started to ring. Anna got up really quickly, she
was very nervous...
Today is her big day, because she is doing exams at her
high school.
She made a quick breakfast. Suddenly, she realized that it
was 8 o'clock. The exams were starting at 9 o'clock. She
was stressed. Anna quickly grabbed her bag and ran out
through the door. When she arrived, there were many
people, teachers, parents as well as children. Sweat was
running down her face. After a while the exams began. At
first, she was shocked, she thought that she had forgotten
everything but then she realised that there was nothing to
be afraid of. She started to fill in the answer sheets...
Finally, the test was over. Anna had a really good feeling
about it. Now, after a few weeks, she knows that she has
passed her exams.

LOST CHILDREN

Anna had a very special reason for getting up early the
next day, so she set the alarm for 5 am. She has a very
important match in Nevada. At 5 am she jumps out of her
bed.
The road is really boring for her. She is in a forest. Lots of
trees, boring road, silence. Suddenly she sees something
strange on the road. A Child. A small boy with ripped
clothes. She stops quickly.
“Hey boy, what are you doing here?”
“I am just standing here.”
“What?”
He is quiet.
“Where are your parents?”
“Over there” he says and points to the deep forest. “Can
you go with me? I am scared I could get lost.”
“Sure!” He leads her deeper and deeper into the forest for
a long time. She sees a playground. Very old, with broken
equipment.
“Friends, come out!” he shouts. And suddenly Anna can
see children. Many children. All dead. Some of them
don‟t have arms, legs or eyes. And the hand of the boy I
am holding is just a bone!
“Will you stay with us? Will you be our new mum?”
Anna starts to yell...

Hangover

Mark and Angela looked at each other and started to laugh. They
looked terrible. And they knew why. They remembered last night...
and that one big hangover! It all started at school, where they were
talking about a party. It was on Joe's 18th birthday. It looked like he
invited whole school. Joe was popular. He was gorgeous, friendly,
kind. He was "a piece of good man." Many girls liked him. There was
only one thing about him... he was small, I mean he was only
1.67metres. So it was kind of funny. Whatever; they were laughing
because of the party. At first, it started at 6 o'clock, but most people
didn't arrive until nine.
They also expected a much bigger place, the garden just wasn't big
enough. But after a few drinks, the mood was getting better.
Everyone was friendly in a moment... and someone was more than
just friendly. Mark always loved Angela, but he was too scared to tell
her. But there, with all that atmosphere and drinks..., he just decided
to tell her.
He found her dancing at the top of the fountain! He was also kind of
funny... he didn't know it, but his shirt was covered with lipstick.
Anyway, he tried to help her down, but they both fell. They started
to laugh. Then they went into the house and did something,... we
don't need to know. And now they are lying in a bed, staring at each
other, but with great feelings.
