COMPANY PROFILE :
ARTOYZ SA is a french company dedicated to sell,
promote and produce Designer Toys and Urban
Vinyl Figures.
The company based in Paris was founded in
December 2003 and started as a website
(still growing as from today) including a retail
webshop, a magazine featuring news, articles,
interviews, a message board, and a news blog
since mid-2007.
The website has 120 000 unique visitors/month
as for January 2008.
We became wholesaler for shops in France and
Europe a few weeks after with the immediate
success of the product we were retailing.
We are currently working with a solid network
of 150 shops with half of them in France
and the other half in Europe.
We opened a shop and gallery (100m2)
in the center of Paris in October 2005,
in between the district CHATELET/LES HALLES
and LE LOUVRE.
We opened another shop and gallery in the 2nd
biggest city of France, Lyon, in May 2007 in the area
of the Presqu’ile (100m2 also).
We are the biggest company dedicated to this
segment in Europe, and the biggest wholesaler
and retailer as well.
The turnover for ARTOYZ for the year 2006 – 2007
is 1 million euros.

The design has been imagined by EASY HEY from
DELKOGRAPHIK studio, based on the Artoyz
Mascot in 2005.
The 3D model has been created by GREGOS.

There will be many releases on those shapes
for forthcoming years including:

by ARTOYZ or by artists)

VINYL PROJECTS
(find pictures below)
We are starting to produce vinyl figures created
by French artists (at first).
Those artists come from various areas and graphic
styles such as illustration, graphic design, fashion,
street-art, design, comic book.
Our aim is to develop new graphic shapes and style
in 3D to promote French artists and their unique
style. We want to develop new projects unseen
characters and fresh 3d figures.

ATZ (CLOTHING LINE)
ARTOYZ is gonna release starting Spring 2008
a clothing label called ATZ.
The name ATZ refers immediately to the name
ARTOYZ, as it’s shortened and an immediate
reference to our brand name known worldwide.
We are doing a collaborative work with close artists
and also forthcoming talents.
We are working on selected pieces, created by
fashion designer STEPH COP, who was the stylist
for famous street brands such as HOMECORE,
LADYSOUL and GRAPHIK DZIGN.
He created for the first collection a collection
of men and women shirts and mens’ hoodies
with original cuts created specially for our brand.
At first we are developing selected pieces such
as tees and hoodies, step by step we are going
to increase the forthcoming collections by adding
other styles such as polos, hats, sweaters, jackets,
accessories for both men and women.
This first collection is a way to demonstrate
the styling direction and graphic design we are going
to develop in the near future.
We have chosen to work on selected materials
and shapes in order to create a clear distinction
with other street labels.
Our aim is to develop quality street clothing with
a fresh view on graphic designs, trying to reinvent
the classic tee with several pieces and colours
in one shirt.
14
15
We have worked with artists for special designs
with a significant constraint of colours and materials
(4 colours to choose by artists).
There is a link between the toys and the clothing
(pattern, details, colours, artists)
We want our brand to be considered as an upper
street brand with high quality products.
Here are the main points that give value
to our clothing line:
Innovative shirts with use of multiple stitching
and various elements.
Eco friendly material.
High value packaging with tissue-paper, cotton bags
and clear plastic displays.
Each collection consists of a selected choice
of 4 colours (plus black and white) that can be
mixed because of the structure of the piece itself
Collaborative work with famous graphic artists
The artists that created designs for the first
collection are:
STEPH COP, JEAN SPEZIAL, iLK, NYNO,
NATHAN JUREVICIUS, FLYING FORTRESS, EASY
HEY, PULCO MAYO, GREMS, BUNKA, KORALIE.
The retail price for the tee-shirts (men and women)
should be around 40€ (Retail Price)
The hoodies would be around 120€ (Retail price)
The hoodies will be limited to 300 pieces worldwide.
