April 8: WebPOS to Include Real Time
Replenishment (RTR) for Assurance Wireless
Customers
Applies to dealer channels selling Boost Mobile,
Virgin Mobile or Sprint Prepaid (SPP) airtime through
WebPOS.
The Dealer will access the RTR
product via WebPOS and choose
the Assurance Wireless button
under Airtime.
Overview: The "Virgin Mobile RTR $10-20 Opt Svc” and
“Boost RTR $10-20 Opt Svc” denomination range was
also changed from $10-20 to $5-20 for Boost Mobile
and Virgin Mobile.
The Dealer will then choose
Assurance RTR $5 - $200 under the
Product tab in WebPOS and follow
existing steps for Virgin Mobile RTR.
An Assurance Wireless Product selection button will be
added to the list of products available in WebPOS with a
RTR range from $5-$200.
»» These changes will also be implemented for POS terminals in the dealer
channel on April 8. Lowering the minimum RTR amount will help promote
sales of optional services including Mobile Hotspot, International Connect,
and International Minute Packs available for less than $10.
»» Also on April 8, the $5 minimum for Boost/VMU/SPP will launch on POS
terminals in the dealer channel.
