About us…
Highland Sugarworks was founded in 1986
by Jim MacIsaac. From the very beginning
our goal was to package and distribute the
finest maple syrup available. We purchase
syrup from sugarmaker’s throughout Vermont
and New England. It’s been a joy to work
with these dedicated family farmers who
faithfully stoke their sugarhouse evaporators
each spring to carry on this time-honored
tradition. We are proud to be able to help
sustain family farms throughout New
England. While Highland Sugarworks
distribution and product line continues to
grow, the fundamental commitments to
quality, service, and community remain the
focal points of the company. Highland
Sugarworks purchases pure maple syrup from
hundreds of neighboring farms throughout
New England, encouraging and supporting
sustainable agriculture. The purchase of
Highland Sugarworks maple syrup has a
direct, positive impact on the farming
community throughout New England.

All of our syrup is hot-packed and stored in our facility,
until it is time to fill the containers. Packaging involves
reheating, re-filtering and the syrup is again checked for
grade and flavor to assure that it is of premium quality.
At Highland Sugarworks, we strive to uphold the highest
