Welcome to the 12th Annual Mattson Performance Horse
Sale. This year we are excited to present this sale at the
World Famous Knuckle Saloon. The sale will take place
in the center of the saloon, in the covered indoor/outdoor
concert area. The Mattson Performance Horse Sale has also
teamed up with WHB Video Auctions to present this prestigious event to a worldwide audience.
We are so very pleased to have these fine consignors, as well
as our own horses to offer. We are offering horses ranging
from weekend trail horses, ranch horses, highschool rodeo
horses to pro-rodeo level horses and several nice prospects.
Previews will be held at the Mattson Arena just 2 miles
north of Sturgis. Two Previews will be offered to ensure
that prospective buyers find the horse that fits their level.
There is a variety of horses offered in this sale and anyone
looking will be able to find what they need.
This year we will be adding a Ranch Horse Competition

Term & Conditions
We urge buyers to examine the horses that interest them before the sale. To the
best of our knowledge, horses are free of disease or defect, unless called at the
sale time. Each horse has passed a veterinarian exam for physical soundness.
Terms of the sale are CASH: No Exceptions. (Personal checks are considered
cash) Driver license or some other form of identification will be required for
check. Letter of credit may be requested. The sale personnel will withhold registration papers until checks clear the bank. If any buyer wishes to obtain registration papers immediately, the horse must be paid for in currency or certified
check.
The highest bidder is to be the buyer. If any dispute arises between or among
two or more bidders, sole authority to settle the dispute as he deems fit is reserved by the auctioneer. His decision is final. The auctioneer reserves the right
to reject any or all bids.
The auctioneer, announcer and employees act as agents only for the sellers, but
assume no liability for either the buyer or seller. Every effort has been made to
insure correctness in the catalog, and in most cases information quoted concerning the horses is taken from official records. However, auctioneer, announcer
and employees will not assume responsibility for error or omissions. Be certain

Mattson Performance Horse Sale will guarantee horses for soundness until
12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 08, 2015. Mattson Performance Horse Sale will
have a vet, and this vet will be the only vet that can make soundness decisions
in order to obtain refunds. Soundness will be based solely on, sight out of both
eyes, good air, hit the ground on all four and not to crib. This soundness guarantee will apply only to horses with problems existing prior to sale time and not
to problems caused after the sale by buyers hauling or use of the horse. After

MM CASH OF MIA OWN is
a 2001 gelding that we raised and
trained. This horse was sold to Trevor
Brazile in 2011 helping him qualify for
the NFR. In 2012, Trevor led the world
standing until an injury. He came back
in 2013 winning the Bob Feist Invitational and setting a BFI Record. The
horse was the leading PRCA money
winner in the month of July 2013. He
is the fastest horse I have ever owned
and trained and Trevor is quoted as
saying he is the fastest horse he has
owned also.
TERMINATOR was a calf roping horse I sold to Blair Burke in
1995. He was rodeoed on for years, used at the NFR numerous
times and ridden by Blair. He was later sold to Jerome Schneeberger. He also was used during the past world record run by
Cody Ohl in Billings, MT in 1995 with a time of 6.7.

MIGHTY MOUSE is a 1997 gelding sold to Kelly Eggl, Minot,
ND. Kelly has used Mighty Mouse for years at Amateur and Pro
Rodeos in the Dakotas and Canada and Mighty Mouse is also a
former calf roping horse of the year in the Badlands Circuit.
SNOOPY is a 2000 gelding
purchased by Cole Robinson of Moorcroft, WY.
Snoopy carried Cole to two
calf roping titles in the WY
High school Rodeo Association as well as Horse of the
Year among horses in all
events in WY High School
Rodeo. Cole also won the
Grand Canyon Association
All Around Title on Snoopy
and currently uses him at
the Pro Rodeos as well as in
the Grand Canyon Region
