With our guided program children learn the fundamentals of
math and physics as they play. We offer a variety of fun &
engaging, age-appropriate projects for beginners all the way to
advanced builders (grades K-4).
Using creativity, teamwork, and problem solving, students learn
through building and testing machines and structures created
with Lego and K’nex kits not available in stores. Every new
project features thought-provoking themes like simple and
motorized machines, outer space, transportation, traveling, and
community.
With the help of our teachers, children have fun, build
confidence, and explore STEM concepts like balance, stability,
energy, and motion, all while making new friends!

This Session’s Island: Based on the game Kincaid kids love to play, this all new island will have
tribes building their own shelters, tools, and crafting tables. They’ll tackle creepers, zombies and
other mobs and design their very own mine trains. But unlike it’s online inspiration, Challenge
Island©’s Mindcraft Island is powered by kids’ imaginations (not an electrical current), has them
interacting with their peers face to face (not through avatars), and takes place 100% in the real

At Marietta Martial Arts, we believe that martial arts training encompasses all
aspects of a students’ life, not just the physical. As students participate in our classes, parents

Respect : Martial arts begins and ends with respect. Respect is simply showing someone or something
that you care. Showing respect can be easy as saying “Yes Ma’am” and “Yes Sir” or raising their hand
before speaking. We will demonstrate and help re-enforce ways that students can show respect to teachers, classmates, siblings and parents!
Focus: We teach children how to focus and our philosophy is simple. We teach them that they focus
using their eyes, their ears and their brains. It’s the ability to focus, in the class room and at home, which
will determine a student’s level of success. That’s why we place such a high emphasis on this behavior.
Self-Discipline: Doing what you are supposed to do without being told...all students will benefit from
developing more self-discipline!! We discuss in each class examples how students can show self-discipline
at home, at school and in karate class.
