From the Executive Director
Dear Friend,
Each day I am amazed by the smiles from families receiving life-sustaining supplies and the feeling hope in their face,
replacing despair. All of this begins, of course, with your support. Through your generosity, IFCS is able to meet an ever
increasing demand for services, as well as meet the new challenges which face our neighbors in need.
Inter-Faith Community Services provides a “hand-up,” not a “hand-out” by giving motivation, incentive, and by providing
services to low-income people in western and unincorporated Arapahoe and northern Douglas Counties. IFCS reaches out
to families through basic services, moral support, and educational programs and is always responsive and provides those in
need with opportunities to learn, to grow, and to become or continue to be active and productive members of our community.
Your support made it possible for Inter-Faith Community Services to assist more than 17,500 individuals with homeless
and hunger prevention services, clothing, and other financial assistance services. Six hundred eighty six (686) new lowincome individuals came to our door for assistance. IFCS Services also provided 8,088 referrals to other organizations.
Thank you, for without your continued support of our programs and services, it would be impossible for Inter-Faith
Community Services to continue to meet the needs of thousands of low-income families, children, individuals and
senior citizens who come to our door for assistance.

The 2012-13 year was very busy for Inter-Faith Community Services with many new clients and a large amount of
services going to our community.
