At Lester Arnold High School, we offer multiple pathways to college and career readiness for our graduating seniors. Traditionally, students who take and pass Algebra 2 and/or a higher-level science course such as Chemistry,
Physics, Anatomy/Physiology, and/or Biology stand a good chance to be academically
prepared for the rigors of college. Additionally, within the structure of the school schedule, our students can access courses, which are essentially college-level courses offered
in our building. Finally, students who earn a "B" or better in a concurrent enrollment
course, either through Community Colleges or through another post-secondary institution, have demonstrated college readiness. Our aim is to have all of our graduates meet
this standard in one way or another.
