THE PROJECT
Sanctuary Falls is a benchmark villa project set amidst lush golf vistas and inspiring lakes, located in Jumeirah Golf Estates (Dubai, UAE). The community features a collection
of 97 resort-style villas, overlooking the world-class Earth golf course designed by Greg Norman, and is home of the DP World Tour Championship. The project brings
together architects, interior designers and landscape artists from the hotel and resort industry to create a unique ‘resort home’ concept. Sanctuary Falls has won a number
of international and regional awards including the Bloomberg award for ‘Best International Golf Development’. The project enjoys an affluent and diverse resident profile,
which also includes A-list Bollywood celebrities such as Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
MASTER COMMUNITY
Sanctuary Falls is one of several projects located in the Jumeirah Golf Estates (JGE)
master community. JGE has certain unique attributes that are not found in any other
residential golf developments in the region:
Most residential golf communities have access to one golf course only. JGE is the
only residential golf community in Dubai that gives residents access to 2 world-class
championship golf courses (Earth and Fire designed by Greg Norman). Both golf
courses have been operational since 2009.
JGE provides residents access to great community amenities including the largest
clubhouse in the Middle East (131,000 sq. ft.), a dedicated golf academy, tennis
academy, retail and entertainment centre etc.
There are only 2 golf courses in Dubai that host international golf tournaments. The
Earth course at JGE is one of them (Dubai World Championship) and the other is the
Emirates Golf Club (Dubai Desert Classic).

The magnificent new clubhouse is now ready and was
officially opened in advance of the 2014 DP World Tour
Championship that was hosted at Jumeirah Golf Estates in
November. The new clubhouse features various amenities
including numerous restaurants and cafes, fitness and leisure
facilities including gym, swimming pools and a spectacular
outdoor terrace overlooking the 18th hole of the Earth golf
course. The clubhouse also has all the golf retail amenities
necessary to service your needs during your visit to the club,
featuring a retail shop stocked with branded apparel, golf
equipment and a facility for handicap tracking.

The ETPI offers a variety of instructional programmes to suit all abilities player development and introduction to golf clinics, ladies group coaching, corporate clinics and our junior masterclass programs. Located on the practice fairway serving both the Fire and Earth courses at Jumeirah Golf Estates, the range of amenities on offer includes a state of the art gymnasium,
biomechanical swing studios, putting lab, dedicated short game holes, expansive practice fairway and teeing areas, bunker practice greens, a large contoured putting green, physiotherapy
treatment rooms, fully equipped business lounge and locker rooms, all instructional programmes include the use of interactive high performance video technology.

Widely known as the man who invented “Home Theatre” back in
the early 1980’s, Theo Kalomirakis is arguably one of the world’s
most respected private home theatre designers, with a client
list that reads the who’s who of Hollywood. A nine time winner
of the CEDIA Awards, Theo Kalomirakis was awarded a Lifetime
Achievement Award for outstanding theatre design in 2003, a
reputation he has held since the launch of his company 1984.
As a private theatre designer to the stars, Theo Kalomirakis’
custom designed theatres are acclaimed for their spectacular
design, and thoroughly unique architectural detail that has been
scaled to residential proportions, combining unique design flair
with top notch performance.
It is this passion for creative excellence and unique design flair
that Theo Kalomirakis brings to the show villa in Sanctuary Falls.
A one of a kind custom home theatre system designed by himself
incorporating some of the best elements in the world of design
and audio technology, thereby optimizing the home cinema
experience.
Building and finishing materials have been carefully selected to ensure that the home cinema’s audio performance is not adversely
affected. In fact, additional acoustic analysis and treatment has been installed to enhance the overall performance.
A powerful 7.1 digital surround system using Bowers-Wilkins speakers and electronics from Rotel has been installed. A projector
from Runco creates a 5 meter image onto a specially formatted screen from Acoustic Research which maintains the ratio aspect
of the original film, providing a more cinematic experience than any current HDTV can deliver.
The home cinema contains leading edge technology, a Crestron-based solution controls the entire cinema, including state-of-theart D-BOX technology. With a single tap of a wireless touch screen, the lights dim, the volume sets and the movie begins; another
tap of the screen pauses the movie, increases the lights and allows for an intermission to re-fill the popcorn bowl.

An important component of the home theatre system is the Kaleidescape module. The Kaleidescape servers are engineered to reliably store the resident’s movie and music collection.
As a collection grows, the resident can add additional Kaleidescape disk cartridges to increase storage for their movies and music. Multiple servers can be grouped in a single system to
store thousands of movies and tens of thousands of albums as a single collection.
The Kaleidescape movie player is a high-performance audio/video component designed to import into and play back movies and music from the Kaleidescape server. The built-in combo
drive imports CDs and DVDs and supports direct-from-disc playback of a DVD without having to import it into the Kaleidescape System. Any DVD can be played immediately, or the player
can play borrowed and rented DVDs without importing them, eliminating the need for a separate DVD player in the additional equipped rooms. Kaleidescape allows searching by title,
genre, artist, actor/actress, movie/album release date and allows the setting of favorite lists. Another unique feature of the system is the ability to browse through titles using ‘cover-art’
which is the same image as the movie’s DVD cover or album CD cover.
The Crestron touch panel is an integral part of the Kaleidescape Experience. Kaleidescape invests extensively in touch panel user interface design - as well as the Kaleidescape System’s
onscreen display - to ensure consistent and intuitive navigation.
