According to historical records, the name “Tierras del Sauce” was
used by the ancient inhabitants of Villa General Belgrano to denote
the village which was characterized by the amount of magnificent
willow trees present in this area.

particular became Estancia La Cristina. The progress of the village
later called Villa General Belgrano resulted in the inclusion of
Estancia La Cristina within the urban area of the town. Nowadays,
our enterprise is entirely inserted within the urban area holding the
corresponding city and provincial authorizations. In order to give a
practical idea of its dimensions, Tierras del Sauce occupies 25 % of
the city’s surface.
Tierras del Sauce is an enterprise of small farms of approximately 1
hectare each, located in the middle of nature and surrounded by a
sublime landscape, only 2 km away from Villa Gral. Belgrano city
centre. The panoramic view of the valley, the streams and their
bridges as well as the abundant natural vegetation create a
breathtaking atmosphere to rest and cherish nature’s valuable
treasures.
