A note from your ushers:
Periodically, the ushers will be posting some suggestions
and requests in the weekly bulletin. Please take the time to
read these and take their suggestions to heart. In this way
we as a parish can work together to better enjoy and
celebrate Mass.
Don't cut short your time with the Lord...
We have noticed a significant increase in the number of
parishioners leaving church immediately after Communion.
Remember, Mass is not officially over until the priest gives
his final and very important blessing. Please stay with us
until the end.

IT’S RAINING MEN!
Saint Ann Catholic School is accepting applications for
the 2014-2015 school year:
If you are interested in a Catholic education for your
child, please contact our school office to arrange a tour. We
would love to have you join our school community!
…but not in Faith Formation!! We are still in need of
catechists and aides for both Sunday and Wednesday, and it
would be a terrific witness to the young people to have a
better representation from the males in the parish. If this is
an apostolate you would consider, please contact Amy in the
Faith Formation Office.

happy to answer questions (and take bulk orders!) at
[email protected].
---------------------------------------------------------------Video on Demand!
If you are looking for solid Catholic content on the
Internet, it is often hard to sort out the wheat from the
chaff. But, if you like YouTube (sans the adorable cat
videos!), try http://www.mycatholictube.com. There, you
will find professionally-produced video content, all in
fidelity to the teachings of the Church.

We need to open three doors in order to know Jesus.
- The first door is praying to Jesus. We must pray to
Jesus to get to know him better. We’ll never know Jesus
without praying. Never! Never!
- The second door is celebrating Jesus. This is what the
Church is all about: celebration.
- The third door is imitating Jesus. Take the Gospel and
see what did he do, how was his life, what did he try to tell
us, what did he teach us, and try to imitate him.
~ Pope Francis (May 16, 2014)
----------------------------------------------------------------
The fruit of silence is prayer.
The fruit of prayer is faith.
The fruit of faith is love.
The fruit of love is service.
The fruit of service is peace.
~ Mother Teresa
