The Knights of Columbus are handing out grocery bags this
weekend for our Catholic Charities food pantry collection.
The truck will be here June 11th and 12th in the St. Ann parking lot to collect nonperishable food items after all Masses.
Please bring your grocery bag back with you next weekend to
the truck parked in the north parking lot Knights will be
available to help anyone who needs assistance. The pantry is
especially in need of: canned fruit, cereal/oatmeal, canned
meat/tuna, canned soup, Hamburger Helper, boxed potatoes,
pasta, spaghetti sauce, rice/beans, coffee/tea, juice, pancake
mix/syrup, muffin mix, sugar, flour, and hygiene items like
toothbrushes and toothpaste. Please do not donate any food
items in a glass container or jar if at all possible. Thank you
for your generosity!
For struggling families who rely on
school food programs to help feed their
children, the summer months are
challenging. They turn to Catholic
Charities’ food pantries when they
have no other options. Unfortunately,
as demand increases, donations
decrease throughout the summer. We need your help. Visit:
catholiccharitiesks.org/feedthehungry. Ninety-one cents of
every dollar goes directly to programs and services to assist
our neighbors in need.
Be a Friendly Visitor!
Do you know of a senior in need of companionship? Catholic
Charities of Northeast Kansas’ Friendly Visitors program
pairs homebound seniors with compassionate volunteers.
Carefully screened and trained, volunteers are available to
make daily phone calls to check on a senior’s well-being or as
a medication reminder, visit weekly to combat loneliness or
provide transportation to medical appointments or the
grocery store (as available). Services are offered at no charge
in Johnson County, Leavenworth, Topeka and Emporia. For
more info about these services or to become a volunteer,
please contact: Betsy Holzworth 913-433-2000 or
[email protected]

Summer Youth Program
Totus Tuus
Grades 1-6: June 13-17 (9 AM-3 PM)
Grades 7-12: June 12-16 (7-9 PM)
Totus Tuus returns to St. Ann! Totus Tuus is a Catholic youth program based off of Saint
John Paul II's phrase which means "Totally Yours".
Trained college students and seminarians travel from parish to parish investing time into
the youth, helping to bring their faith to life by showing the love of Christ.
It is a great way for them to grow in understanding their Catholic faith, to spend time in
prayer, and have fun too!
