End of Year Update
Congratulations to our 6th graders for reaching one of many
future milestones in education and completing Elementary
School! It’s a bittersweet time for students as well as parents,
and we wish you all the best of luck and hope you accomplish
great things in Middle School next year! A special thank you
goes out to all of the 6th grade parents who will be leaving
the Jessie Beck Family – after all the years of volunteerism,
helping with events, fundraising, in the classroom, etc. You will
be missed and your involvement throughout the years have
made a lasting impact on the quality of education at Beck.

FUNd the ARTs Auction and Dinner,
you have another chance to taste
what you missed and say thanks for
supporting Jessie Beck.
Our FUNd the Arts Auction and Dinner event was a
success! Thank you to everyone who attended, donated,
purchased items and amazing art, helped serve food,
pour wine, set-up, take-down, etc. I cannot express how
painstakingly hard the committee worked to pull this event
together this year. We had below-expected tickets sales
going into the event, but the preliminary numbers show we
grossed about $37,000 and maybe will see a net of around
$25,000! This will allow us to stay on track with our financial
goals into next year. Please plan to get involved with PFA
next year and help us decide how to spend this hard-earned
money.
Now through August, Slice of
the Peak is giving you another
chance to taste their signature
pizzas and hand-crafted beers.
Team up a Silver Peak IPA, or
any of their brews with the
tastiest pie in town, made with
the same malted barley used in
their beers. No matter how you slice
it, it's the perfect art this summer.
Don't forget about
Silver Peak's other
terrific locations.
Please remember to say thanks. On the back of
this flyer, you'll find a list of all the donors who contributed
to our school this year. Please make it a priority to patronize
these supporters whenever possible. Please try to find the
owners and thank them personally for helping Jessie Beck.
Their support goes a long way for our school, and supporting
them encourages` other donors to participate.
The PFA Board will continue to meet over the summer and
make plans for next year’s budget. The new Board will take
office starting June 7th. If you have any input or ideas for
what our priorities should be, please email Derek Vogel or
