History.
A place with a special history!
1920’s
Since the 20’s the property is part of the Villa Stephanie and therefore part of
the Brenner’s Park-Hotel - one of the most famous Hotels in the world
and the first house in Baden-Baden.
1945 - 1950
Brenner’s Park-Hotel and Villa Stephanie are used as the headquarters
of the French occupation forces in Germany.
1965
The main house of Villa Stephanie has to give way to the newly built congress center.
However, a wing of the house is preserved and is now the seat
of the “cure administration” called “House of spa guests”.
1996
The administration of thermal spring and cure is dissolved.
The House of the spa guest is due to high restructuring costs some time empty.
1997
Entrepreneur Karlheinz Kögel owns the building,
renovated it and used it as headquarter of his company
1998
The famous Parisian interior architect plans the design of the premises
and implements it with 32 other artists.
14th February 1998 - Medici opened

A place with a special atmosphere!
“Garcia” works with the design for Medici against the trend.
Instead of the commonly used cool design with wood, glass and metal he realized his vision
of Medici with pompous colums and stucco, shiny colors and opulent fabrics.

The parquet is from a Belgian château and is over a hundred years old.
The style of the Medici is not clearly defined but can be referred to as classical.

Media Control honors outstanding individuals for years
with the German Media Prize.
At the After Show Party at Medici award winners like Georeg Clooney, Angela Merkel,
Bill Clinton, Nelson Mandela, Sir Richard Branson, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands,
King Juan Carlos of Spain and many more enjoyed culinary delights.

The Restaurant room is the main room in the Medici. The cozy atmosphere and the unique ambiance make every
event a special experience. A highlight in this room is the “Kingstable”, where award winners like George Clooney
enjoyed dinner already.

The wintergarden is located parallel to the river “Oos” and offers through the windows a gorgeous view of the Lichtentaler allee.
You have the feeling to be in one with the nature.
The wintergarden is separated by windows and doors from the other rooms and it’s a smoke & dine area.
With the exclusiv booking of this room you can decide whether smoking is allowed or not.

The rooms are located next to each other and are connected by two passages.
The ambiance is dominated by old black welded images from the “Lichtentaler allee”
