The Continuing Medical Education Committee at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance is proud to present the 7th Annual Medical
Education Conference. This program is designed to provide Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Nurses
with up to date and evidence based clinical data. Emphasis will be placed on the practical application of content presentation.
It will also cover a wide range of topics essential to all practitioners at the level of a practicing physician. The intention is to
improve competence in making an appropriate diagnosis and providing effective treatment and consultations with the overall
goal of improving patient outcomes. This represents an important step toward fulfilling our mission of bringing state of the
art care to our community.
Statement of Need / Gap Analysis
The educational and informational needs for this continuing medical education event were compiled from attendees written
evaluation summaries from previous medical education activities. This conference will provide the tools to better manage
their practice and address disease states common to the adult and pediatric populations with an emphasis on optimizing
quality care and patient outcomes. The conference will highlight diagnosis, treatment and management of several diseases
and conditions with discussion of the new advances in care and technology related to primary care.
General Learning Objectives
• Discuss current guidelines and evidence based medicine as applicable to each specific topic’s specific objectives.
• Discuss the management and future directions of treatment.
• Discuss new advances in care and technology related to primary care.

The 7th Annual Medical Education Conference “Best Practices Applied to Your Busy Practice” is designed for Primary
Care Physicians, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatricians, Obstetricians, Gynecologists, Neurologists, Oncologists,
Endocrinologists, Psychiatrists, Intensivists, Cardiologists, Emergency Medicine, Pulmonologist, and Surgeons. This content
is also appropriate for Advance Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Nurses.
