About the Program
The Program gives Technical skills that can be developed in practical sessions giving learners the
opportunity to explore a range of materials, techniques and equipment. This explores creative image
manipulation using a range of either traditional or digital imagery, or a combination of both. Learners should
explore the use of cameras and printing techniques to produce a range of experimental imagery. In doing this
they may explore and recognise the creative and experimental potential of photography, and develop skills in
photographic image production. They should develop awareness and understanding of specific
photographic materials, techniques and processes, and review their approaches to generating experimental
work through applying these.

Be able to experiment with photographic materials, techniques and processes
Be able to present selected experimental photographic outcomes
Be able to comment on experimental photographic work..
Contents
Duration
DSLR operation ( Camera Basics) how camera works, introduction to Lenses.
Understanding of Exposure Controls
Understanding metering modes , White balance.
Different Camera Modes
Day Light photography
Use of Flash , Reflector
Studio Lighting- Understanding lights
Use of Grey Card
How to use Tripod
Image File resolution, knowledge of printing and media card.
All the above will be strongly supported by practical sessions & practice to develop
the skills and train eye for Photography.

Amature Photographers, Fashion designers , people who wants to take
photography as profession and those who want to use SLR / Digital cameras and
other photography equipments.

Eligibility
Minimum qualification is 10+2.
*As the medium of instruction is English, a working knowledge of
the language is desirable.
