Issue 141 March 13, 2015 FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT'S OFFICE In This Issue... Dear Parents, FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT Hopefully, the severe winter weather conditions are behind us. The longer days and slightly warmer temperatures are certainly an indication that spring is on its way. FROM THE PRINCIPALS PARCC MAKEUP TESTING As you know, we closed school for three days during the months of January and February. Originally, the school year was planned to end on Tuesday, June 9. As a result of the decision to close, we will be making up the three missed days on June 10, 11 and 12. Your flexibility and understanding with respect to the unpredictable Chicagoland weather is greatly appreciated. I do believe that making up the three missed days is important for our children and the integrity of the school calendar.
