Russian Olive
The Russian Olive was introduced to the United States in the late 1800’s as an
ornamental tree and a windbreak. It is now naturalized in 17 western states from
the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas westward to the Pacific
coast. The prolific flowers, which bloom in May and June, produce lots of pollen
which is a common allergen for many individuals.

Perennial Ryegrass
PERENNIAL RYEGRASS IS A SEVERE ALLERGEN
Perennial Ryegrass or Lolium perenne is a pasture grass found
in most of North America. Its uses vary from a grazing grass to a
soil erosion control mechanism. Planting Perennial Ryegrass is
recommended in spring or mid summer with a 60 day growth period.
This creates a possibility for pollen to be present as an airborne
allergen from spring into fall.
PERENNIAL RYEGRASS POLLEN
Perennial Ryegrass is cross reactive with Quack Grass and Italian Ryegrass. For more information on
cross reactivity in the allergens of grasses, weeds and trees, ask your HollisterStier Allergy sales
representative for our Cross Reactivity Guide.

PLANTS & AIRBORNE MOLDS OF ALLERGENIC IMPORTANCE*
This digital guide to identifying many common plants and molds known to have allergenic
properties contains forty-one important allergenic plants in full color, large-scale printable
paintings with botanical data and remarks on their allergenic qualities. These informative
images were the product of several years of collabortation between HollisterStier’s botanists
and botanical illustrator Mary Foley Benson. The CD also includes eight scanning electron
micrographs of various pollen grains.
As an aid to identifying common airborne molds and their habitats, the CD contains color
photographs of Petri dish colonies as well as microphotography of each of the 14 featured
species. Data on each species with remarks on allergenic significance is also presented on the
disk. Purchase of the CD allows for unlimited use of all images.

Custom Patient Prescriptions in 50% Glycerin*
STANDARD PRESCRIPTION SETS
ECONOMY AND EFFICIENCY
A standard set consists of four or five 5mL vials of
graduated dilutions as prescribed. You have the option to
choose either 5mL or 10mL refill vials.
Let our detail-oriented staff mix exactly what your
patients need.
Once your signed prescription order is submitted, you'll
receive your shipment in approximately 21 to 28 days. All
custom prescriptions are shipped for next day delivery.
ANTIGENS
Based on literature† for optimal dosing, you should use
no more than four antigens per custom prescription, but
historically antigen companies have allowed more than
the suggested number. We recommend a maximum
of 12 antigens in a single prescription set. All custom
prescription sets containing five or fewer antigens are
available at a single price. Weaker dilutions are available
upon request.
SAFETY. STERILITY. ACCURACY.
Our experienced staff and state-of-the-art facilities are at
the heart of our quality promise.
• Experienced, aseptically trained technicians.
• Save time, freeing you and your staff for other
important components of patient care.
• Free up valuable storage space and eliminate the
need to maintain costly extract inventories.
• Readily accepted by most third-party payers, so your
billing resources won't feel a difference.
• Reduce tedious record-keeping and minimize the
chances of incorrect dosing.
SIMPLIFIED ORDER PROCEDURE
• Postage-paid or faxable forms make order
placement fast and efficient.
• To get started, download either the custom patient
prescription order form or prescription refill order
form at hsallergy.com or ask one of our helpful
customer service representatives for assistance.
• Request fax acknowledgment of your custom patient
prescription orders (sent after the prescription has
been reviewed and accepted by our pharmacist).
• Our aseptic manufacturing facility features HEPAfiltered air and laminar flow individual workstations.
• Systems and activities are continuously monitored
by quality assurance experts.
• Every lot is put through a 14-day sterility test that
meets both the FDA mandate and our quality
standards.
