Debuting their first helmet collection in 2000, Capix was founded
on the objective of providing the best protection available at an
affordable price. Armed with one of the most influential pro teams
ever assembled, Capix has expanded it’s product categories to include,
not only helmets, but also safety equipment and accessories,
spanning four action sports categories: snow, skate, wake and bike.
With the input and influence of their world renowned athletes,
Capix continues to push the boundaries in an effort to design and
build products that stand up to the abuse of todays’ demands.

OUR MISSION
As safety is always a choice, we made the choice to make rider
safety a priority. By using premium materials and technology we
have crafted a full range of protective which meets the highest of
international standards. By offering a full line of skate and bike
helmets which fully comply with strict CPSC certifications we are
certain that our riders’ safety; every snow helmet is fully certified
with ASTM and every wake helmet with EN1385.
Since the inception of Capix our sights have been set on blending
style and safety. For the past decade our riders have worked closely
with our R&D, combining the years of experience to perfect
all aspects of our protective range to produce an authority in
safety and style.

HELMET
TECHNOLOGY
HARDSHELL CONSTRUCTION
Hard-shell helmets are the staple of any rider. These tried and tested helmets are
built by bonding an EPS liner to an injection moulded ABS shell. Through this process
we combine the durability of the ABS or PC shell with the comfort of the EPS liner.
The resulting product is strong and resistant to minor knock and scuffs.
IN-MOLD CONSTRUCTION
In-mold is the premium construction for extremely lightweight helmets. Built by
fusing an eps liner to a lightweight poly-carbonate (PC) shell. This produces a low
profile, light weight helmet that you will almost forget you’re wearing. This style was
first made popular by road cyclists who used this outstanding weight reduction to their
advantage. Now we are able to bring this technology to half-shell helmets.

HELMET TECHNOLOGY
LOW FIT
Our anatomically designed helmets fit low to the head offering superior protection. A helmet that
doesn’t fit properly has zero chance of protecting the rider. Our design allows the low profile helmet to
cover more of the riders head without blocking vision or impeding movements.
AIRFLOW MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Our passive ventilation system utilizes channels on the exterior of the EPS liner which will direct airflow
between the helmet and your head. This will allow you to stay dry and comfortable all day by removing
excess heat and promoting the evaporation of moisture.
LIKE A GLOVE
The CAPIX “Like a Glove” fit combines our low fit with the designed liners to combine comfort and fit.
Many half shell helmets are very bulky by nature.

Heat-Sealed Pads, also known as hot compression pads, are offered in all Capix helmets. Using pressure
and heat we seal our pads which offers several benefits

AERODYNAMIC VENTS
One of the main challenges is heat management in any helmet. We have designed our vents to allow the
right amount of air to pass through the helmet. Too much heat exchange and the rider is cold and too
little exchange and there is one wet liner.
SCREENED VENTS
This is a must for any boarder or skier. To prevent any punctures from ski poles, or the like, many of our
models offer a screened mesh.

Simply put this means ‘beefy’. ABS shells, or Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, have been used as the

ABOUT LOUIE VITO
Yo, my name is Louie Vito. I am 23 years old and have been snowboarding since I was around 6 years
old. Started at my home mountain in Ohio called Mad River Mountain. I started dayone with my pops
and now my whole family snowboards. Pretty cool to be able to go snowboarding with your family. A
lot of things inspire my snowboarding. Ridin’ with all your friends is one of the biggest. Nothing beats
those days. I still look up to some snowboarders too, their style, ideas, I don’t think I will ever grow out
of being a fan. I look up to my family because they have definitely helped get me to where I am today.

Since the 2009/10 season, things haven’t slowed down. IT really snowballed doing Dancing With The
Stars, which was so far out of my comfort zone, but I had a lot more fun doing it than I thought. I
wanted to go on, be myself, and ultimately bring some new people to snowboarding. I got the chance
to go to the Olympics, which has been a goal of mine since I was a kid. I didn’t quite get a medal like I
was hoping, but I landed my run when it counted and that’s all I can really ask. So, I guess I just have
to wait till 2014 for the Gold.

Born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, professional rider Pat Milbery has never done things the “conventional”
way. Milbery has earned upwards of 80 published photographs in international snowboarding, music
and style based magazines including 3 covers. Along with the photographs, Milbery has filmed yearly
video parts with Think Thank for the past 6 movie titles, and is also achieved through the launch of

Pat has always been one to give back to snowboarding in any way that he can. Most notably he spent
9 years coaching at Windell’s camp in Mt. Hood, Oregon and 6 years ago he launched his own
snowboard camps through a tour called The So-Gnar Mighty Midwest Snowboard Camp Tour. This
tour is grown exponentially into 14 communities around the U.S. and even visits Japan. “Building
the foundations of snowboarding by sharing your talent and experiences with the next generation is
what I consider one awesome day,” says Milbery. Milbery’s passion for the snowboard culture is undeniable
and he will continue to innovate through his hard working community based building efforts, his

Born and raised in Newport Beach, California, Chanelle came out looking for trouble. She started
skateboarding and waterskiing at the age of 2, soccer and swim team at 4, and roller hockey at 7. Her dare
devil ways did not come without consequence. By the age of 12 she had already broken 7 bones, avoided
amputation, and had a plethora of stitches and bruises. Always looking for ways to challenge herself, she took
on all sports available to her. She used her birthday money to sign up for lessons at the local mountains,
but skipping her 3rd lesson because she was scouted by a brand that paid her entry fee for a slopestyle
pro/am event. Taking 2nd place and walking home with loads of gear, she withdrew from club soccer and
joined USASA the following season. Chanelle became the queen weekend warrior and quickly progressed
winning a gold medal at the Junior World Championships in New Zealand earning her a spot at X-Games.
Fast forward to 2007, she took a Bronze Medal home in her Winter X Games performance and proved
herself a worthy opponent. In 2009 Chanelle won the Asian Open, Leskinen Open and placed 3rd at Us
Open. Chanelle has become a familiar face on the podium and in the magazines. When not competing, she

ABOUT D30 TECHNOLOGY
D3O is a state-of-the-art shock absorption and impact protection technology
