But one thing will never, ever change, as we go our separate ways; the friends we’ve made in school will be our friends for all our days. The special ties and attachments we’ve made, these bonds will never be broken; We’ll continue to feel that special bond, though words may not be spoken. So it’s not “goodbye,” but rather “farewell;” I’ll see you again, my friend. Your friendship means a lot to me, and it will never end. Districts must assign one of four performance ratings—Exemplary, Recognized, Acceptable, or Unacceptable—to the district for overall performance, including performance in the following categories: Fine Arts, Wellness and PE, Community and Parental Involvement, 21st Century Workforce Development, Second Language Acquisition, Digital Learning Environment, Dropout Prevention, and Educational Program for Gifted and Talented Students. Local committees determined the criteria that the district used to evaluate the categories and assigned performance ratings. Under the Texas Education Code, ensuring school district compliance with many of the statutory requirements cited is a shared responsibility between the superintendent and the local school board. If you would like to complete the Community and Student Engagement Ratings Survey, you can go to the Maud ISD website, or if you are viewing the online newsletter, you can click on the below link.
