Revestech main impulse lies in our interest about
re-thinking spaces; we have devoted a great deal of

and researching in new projects as well as taking part
in numerous lab and field tests before launching our
products to the market. Also, we have developed an
institutional collaboration agreement through various
commissioned research projects with the Alicante
University-Faculty of Chemistry in order to undertake a
joint working venture for implementation testing of all

Revestech Training means our commitment with our
installation technicians’ network. Free training courses
and seminars are offered and take place at least once
a month both within and outside our factory with the
aim of sharing our experience and knowledge in relation
to our waterproofing and insulation systems with a wide

Thin set method
DRY 80 is the perfect roofing system.
Installation is so simple that no previous
experience is required.
DRY80 main advantage is that it is not
necessary to clean up debris. That
means you can install the new floor
tile just over the old floor due to the
membrane in between which will
prevent any type of cracking in the
future.
There is hardly a minimum height
increase since it does not need a
compression layer. First, install the
DRY80 membrane with 4mm latex
modify thin-set mortar over the old floor;
then, in no waiting time, install the new
tiles over the DRY80 membrane.

DRY80
DRY80’s waterproofing membrane is of easy and practical installation
Flexible and elastic
DRY80 is installed with adhesive cement, like a tile, and no special tools are required. Due to the flexibility and elasticity of the
membrane sheet, both angles and corners will appear perfectly finished.
More versatile solutions
DRY80 does not present any chemical incompatibility with cement or with tar which simplifies all kinds of refurbishment work. It
does not require any separation layer of geotextile or mortar to put up with the surface, which would reduce the height. It does
not require to remove and / or to prepare the old floor tiles.
Our solution allows DRY80 to waterproof all sorts of tiled covers such as terraces, roofs, patios, balconies, staircases, etc.
Avoid any kind of problems
DRY80 not only prevents all types of mould,
mildew, weeds, grass, etc but eliminates all kinds
of cracking on the pavement which, in a logical
manner, responds to the normal expansion and
contraction of the compression layer itself. Due to
our system which does not need a compression
layer, height increase after renovation should be
minimal.

Flexible sheet for waterproofing flat roofs with fixed flooring protection. It is formed by a double sheet of thermoplastic
polyolefin in coextruction which both sides are coated with non-woven polyester fibres to facilitate the best adherence of
the tile adhesive-mortars used during the installation process.
No waiting time

No need to wait while installing tiled
terraces, balconies, verandas etc. The
floor is attached with the tile adhesivemortar directly to our DRY80 membrane
sheet. No need for a bed of cement
mortar, or a separating layer such as a
geotextile.
As a whole system, to install 90 m2 of
diaphanous terrace requires a single
union; however, with 1 x 10 m asphalt
sheet reels you would need... eight
welding joints!

baseboards, window sills and other complex and critical spots.

Installation instructions
Is placed directly on the old surface without the need to remove the existing covering.
1. When cleaning the surface, it is
advisable to use caustic soda for more
effective cleaning.
2. Layout, measurement and cutting the
membrane.
1º Between the layers.
3. Apply cement adhesive C2 on the old
surface. Properly secure the membrane
to the surface, making sure to remove
with the trowel all the air pockets that
can be generated.
2º Over each joint.
4. Overlap the sheets always starting
from the drain upwards. Leave an overlap
of at least 10 cm.
5. Apply Seal Plus adhesive between the
overlapping layers. (1).
6. Apply more Seal Plus adhesive over
each joint.
7. Use DRY80 Cornerin, Cornerout and
SuMI 56 in problematic areas.
8.Tile directly onto membrane, using
C2 adhesive cement and fit the tiled
skirting.
9. Work completed quickly, easily and
with quality assurance.

1. Cut mitre and fold the flap inwards.

WATERPROOF BREATHEABLE SYSTEMS.
AIR is a waterproof breathable multilayer membrane sheet, is light and
resistant made of thermoplastic polyolefines. REVESTECH AIR is highly
effective in protection against moisture caused by infiltration and
prevents condensation formation under pitched roofs. It is suitable to
use under tile or slate in all kinds of sloped roofing, either hot or cold,
on supports made of concrete, wood or sandwich panels.

Installation instructions
Installation directly over the old substrate avoiding any debris. The membrane sheet can be left on view as the finished roofed
cover.
1. Clean the existing substrate; it is
advisable to use caustic soda for a more
effective cleaning.
2. Set out, measure and cut the matting.
3. Apply C2 cement-based adhesive
over the existing substrate.
4. Fix and secure properly the geo-membrane sheet to the substrate surface,
making sure to eliminate every possible
air pocket that may be generated.
5. We recommend the use of a roller
compactor when laying large areas.
6. Once the matting is well pressed, use
AluDry butyl bands to stick together the
membrane sheets.
7. Press properly the butyl bands for
perfect sealing. It could be helpful the
use of a roller compactor or any other
kind of tool.
8. Use the same AluDry butyl bands for
angles, corners and the most difficult or
problematic spots.
9. Work done in a quick, simple, easy and
100% quality guaranteed way.

Easy maintenance
Not only prevents all types of mould, mildew, weeds, grass, etc but eliminates all kinds of cracking on the roof surface and its
maintenance is both simple and economical.
Ideal for installation on trafficable elevated flooring
Do not screw the lifting devices, plots or bolsters directly over the geo-membrane sheet since it could damage or perforate the
sheet. It is convenient to use polyurethane filler or any kind of similar product in order to fix and set the elevation devices.

ACU200
INDOOR AND OUTDOOR MULTIFUNCTION SYSTEM
Our geo-membrane Acu200 is produced with the latest, state-of-the-art extrusion technology for composites manufacturing.
It is based on the union of 4 different layers in order to solve the current needs and regulations required by the Technical
Building Code either indoors and outdoors, such as sound control, water control, horizontal movements of the base control,
steam generated by the base control.

Crack isolation
The intermediate watertight sheet prevents underground
dampness and moisture to be transferred to the flooring and
to the joints, protecting them from efflorescence caused by
capillarity, mildew and / or mould. Some water-soluble salts
can be transported by rising capillary action through porous
materials and be deposited on its surface once the water
is evaporated by the effect of the sunlight and/or the air,
triggering all kind of efflorescence and humidity.
It absorbs any fractures that may occur in the base as well as
the horizontal cracks up to 4mm. It can cover every existing
crack, absorbing the movements that may occur in the future.
The American Institute TCNA certifies ACU200 as HIGH
PERFORMANCE, under the regulation ANSI A118.12 system
crack resistance test.

Installation instructions

9. Tile directly onto membrane, using
C2 adhesive cement and fit the tiled
skirting.

Installation instructions
Direct installation over existing floor; it is not necessary to clear out any debris.
1. Clean the pool receptacle and
repair any defects.
Make sure that all the membrane is
perfectly attached to the surface and
there are no air bubbles, no matter how
small, in order to avoid future problems
or bulges. Allow the adhesive to dry.
4. Once finished the pool perimeter,
proceed with the placing of the new
tiling directly over the membrane
sheet using C2 adhesive cement mortar.

2. Place the POOL120 sheet fully
adhered to the old tiling with C2
adhesive cement mortar.
3. After the membrane sheets are tightly
inserted, the proper union is made with
Band DRY50 13, using SEAL PLUS to
adhere it to the membrane sheets.
Due to the thickness of the adhesive, a
smooth or straight-edged trowel or spatula, (not toothed), to ensure a covering
over the entire surface of the joint.
5. When the whole set is dry enough, it is
time to fill up the pool and enjoy it!

Features
When joints with REVEStECH ® POOl 120 to different materials such as skimmers, lights, drains of polypropylene and other
elements are required, use an adhesive suitable for them from a supplier of building materials. For a perfect adherence to such
materials, we recommend an adhesive that is two-component, epoxy or polyurethane.

Also use Seal Plus adhesive and put a cut sheet set as close as possible

Solving Problems
Losses of level from undetected fissures and cracks
In pools made of reinforced concrete, fissures and cracks are often produced by movements of retraction. To ensure the
impermeability of the pool cover with REVESTECH ® POOl 120 waterproof and flexible membrane, which is able to absorb
movements from shrinkage and settlement.
Losses of level from detected fissures and cracks
In some pools, localised cracks and fissures as well as areas that have “peeled”, can have a partial repair, without having to do the
entire pool. To do this we must remove and sanitise the area peeled off, check that the rest of the surface is sound, then adhere
the REVEStECH® pool120 membrane with a two-part epoxy or polyurethane adhesive.

Installation instructions
1. Connect the gully to the tub.
2. Slope the mortar bed.
3. Apply the thin-set mortar over using a
4 mm V-notched trowel.
4. Extend the membrane over the
mortar.
5. Apply pressure to the membrane with
the flat side of the trowel (held at an
angle) in smooth, diagonal sweeps. Air
bubbles must be removed.
6. Cover the walls with the membrane.
Seams can be constructed by overlapping the edges of the DRY50 by 8 mm
using modified thin-set mortar.
7. Fold the membrane to make the corner.
Use preformed revestech corners for a
better finish.
8. Apply the thin-set mortar over using a
4 mm V-notched trowel.
9. Proceed to tile the floor and walls.
10. Install the anti-odor piece (only in the case that the bathroom does not have a built-in trap) and the grate.

Installation instructions
1. Connect the gully to the tub.
2. Slope the mortar bed.
3. Apply the thin-set mortar over using a
4 mm V-notched trowel.
4. Extend the membrane over the mortar.
5. Apply pressure to the membrane with the flat
side of the trowel (held at an angle) in smooth,
diagonal sweeps. Air bubbles must be removed.
6. Cover the walls with the membrane. Seams
can be constructed by overlapping the edges
of the DRY50 by 8 mm using modified thinset mortar.
7. Fold the membrane to make the corner. Use
preformed revestech corners for a better finish.
8. Apply the thin-set mortar over using a 4
mm V-notched trowel.
9. Proceed to tile the floor and walls.
10. Install the anti-odor piece (only in the case that the bathroom does not have a built-in trap) and the grate.
Specific case: Tiled linear drain
Shower floor (the tile heigth)
1. Insert the linear drain
channel inside the drain
body and adhere the
membrane with a thin-set
latex modified mortar.
2. Bond the tile over the grate. Use a suitable
adhesive for this.
3. Before tiling the floor, tile and install the grate
because the height of the complete shower
floor -the tiles height- must be taken from the
height of the tiled grate. Tile the grate: cut a
piece of tile at the size of the grate and adhere
the piece over the grate then, insert the tiled
grate over the linear drain channel.
4. Proceed to tile the floor and walls, starting
from the tiled grate.

Solution for base draining of the installation of artificial turf
Pervious base for the installation of artificial turf. geo-draining
dimensional membrane, consisting of two geotextiles
and a core of filament whose distribution mimics the shape
of the roots. Installed between the lawn and waterproofing or
pavement, configures a spring base of passive drainage that
ensures the proper output of water from the irrigation, rain or
snow, thus avoiding the formation of puddles and the drag of
the load of materials.
The system is complemented by our GARDEN TAPE AND
JOINT, which forms a union for the installation of artificial turf
in either a decorative or sports version.

Our double-based decoupling system
DITEC 3 offers great advantages to work
with as it has powerful capacities for the
perfect uncoupling between the support
and the tiling. The geotextiles uncoupled
the tiles from the substrate and protect
them from any cracking and movements
of the substrate. Air channels between
nodules allow the substrate ventilation
and prevent water vapour accumulation.
DITEC 3 permits outdoors uncoupling
tiling such as covers and terraces. In
case it was necessary to previously
waterproof the area, the union joints
between the matting and the perimeter
must be sealed using DRY80 Band
20 together with the cement-based
adhesive in watertight and elastic acrylic
dispersion (A+B).

forces taking place between the substrate and the tiling due
to their different movements. The matting also levels out
the cracks or delaminating in the substrate, preventing the

DITEC3 transfers to the substrate the loads affecting the tile
covering as a result of the transit through the circled gaps in
the superior side of the matting which are filled with a thin
layer of cement-based adhesive. This improves the resistance
of the tiles placed above DITEC3. In areas with larger amount
of transit (such as industries), tiles must be resistant and stable
enough.
