To Open
Virgin Hotel (203 North Wabash) is an eagerly anticipated addition to the
Chicago hotel scene. Slated to open in the fall/winter of 2014 this space is
woman-friendly and being labeled as warm, comfortable, and approachable
with locally-loved touches. On board for the adventure is Chef Rick Gresh,
previously of David Burke’s Primehouse at The James Hotel. The property
will feature six food and beverage programs, provide an interactive phone
application for guests, and have heavy musical influences throughout.
Just Opened
RPM Steak (66 West Kinzie) is the place to “see and be seen” in Chicago’s
social scene. RPM Steak brings a new glitzy addition in the Melman
Brothers and Rancic arsenal. Chef Doug Psaltis’ menu includes traditional
steakhouse fare with a concentration on pescetarian/ vegetarian.
The menu boasts 15 types of steak, six seafaring entrees, and an impressive
350-bottle selection of wines from around the world.
Highline (169 West Kinzie) a new staple for lunches and happy hour
throughout the week. Featuring over 24 TVs and a state-of-the-art sound
system, Highline will be an exceptional place to watch all the big games.
With personal table tap handles and several private areas,
Highline is ideal for events of any size.
Dove’s Luncheonette (1545 North Damen) is brought to Chicago by James
Beard Award-winning, and familiar face, One Off Hospitality. Placed next to
its sibling restaurant, Big Star, Dove’s features Dennis Bernard as its chef de
cuisine providing a menu full of Southern-inspired Mexican cooking! Similar
to Big Star it has a focus on specific spirits; Tequila and Mezcal!

We Recommend
Adamus (10 South Wabash) is an energetic new lounge, in the newly renovated Silversmith Hotel, providing specialty cocktails and
spirited libations handcrafted by experienced mixologists. A
lively ambience presents the perfect backdrop to sip aperitifs
or nightcaps, while the contemporary bar, effervescent with
illuminating design elements, provides electrifying liaisons &
promises a buzzworthy destination for the
mingling crowd. The sleek venue features contemporary American cuisine
using fresh, local ingredients.
Pizano’s Pizza & Pasta (61 East Madison) is the answer to your lunch
time, catering, or dinner needs! Options like the popular thin crust pizza,
original deep dish, and a plethora of salad and side options fill the menu,
like the Italian spirit fills the walls of the restaurant. Book the private room
in the basement to watch your favorite football or baseball team, or have
the party come to you with catering for the office!
