Assurance® Grade Single & Multi-element Standards for AA / ICP
SPEX CertiPrep’s Assurance® Grade Certified Reference Materials (CRM) are designed for AA and ICP-OES analysis and
are available in Single and Multi-element formulations. Our Assurance® product line is made using only high purity
acids, ASTM Type I water, and high purity starting materials to guarantee the highest grade product. We guarantee the
concentrations of the major element(s) to ±0.5% and the accuracy and stability of each Assurance® standard for one year
from date of shipment. All Assurance® grade CRMs report the trace impurity measurements of up to 33 elements.
Claritas PPT® Grade Single & Multi-element Standards for ICP / ICP-MS
SPEX CertiPrep’s Claritas PPT® Grade Certified Reference Materials (CRM) are designed
for ICP-MS and can also be used in ICP-OES analysis. Our Claritas PPT® product line is
made using only ultra-pure acids, ASTM Type I water, and starting materials of highest
purity to guarantee the premium grade product. These standards are manufactured
and packaged in specially constructed clean rooms. We guarantee the concentrations
of the major element(s) to ±0.5% and the accuracy and stability of each Claritas PPT®
standard for one year from the date of shipment. Our Claritas PPT® Grade CRMs report
trace impurities for up to 68 elements at PPT levels.
Standards for Ion Chromatography (IC)
As with all other SPEX CertiPrep Certified Reference Materials, every IC Standard is
prepared under our unique Triple Checked for Quality® Assurance Program. All our
IC standards are checked three ways with all results reported on accurately on our
SPEXCertificate® and are NIST traceable (where available).

XRF, Fusion Flux and Additives
SPEX CertiPrep has a new line of Pure and Ultra-Pure Fusion Fluxes and Additives. Both lines are made from a “Micro
Bead” formula to ensure the exact same ratio of components in each bead with no harmful dust to clog your instruments.
The Ultra-Pure line is 99.998% pure. To maintain a high-level of consistency and quality, each batch is made to be exactly
identical with no detectable lot to lot variation. Our Fusion Fluxes are pre-fused with additives for better accuracy. Custom
fluxes are available. Call for details.
Organometallic Oil Standards
SPEX CertiPrep offers a wide range of Organometallic Oil Standards. The determination of Wear Metals in engine oils and
other lubricants can be applied to machines such as automobiles, aircraft, heavy equipment, trucks, locomotives, military
vehicles, and many more. By tracking metals suspended in the used oil, the breakdown of specific engine parts can be
determined. Specific elements present in used oils have been found to be directly related to engine failures, as well as
other expensive repairs.
Quality Control Samples
The leading manufacturer of Certified Reference Materials has teamed up with the leading manufacturer of Quality Control
Samples. SPEX CertiPrep is now offering ERA QC Samples. All of ERA’s QC samples have
been tested in-house in compliance with the USEPA, NIST, NELAC, and ISO protocols to
ensure their accuracy, homogeneity, and stability. Inorganic and Organic Water Pollution
and Water Supply QC Samples are available.
