Return to Table of Contents Optimize labor performance with modapts® By Ed Eisbrenner W ith a shrinking qualified labor force and high turnover rates, manufacturing and assembly operations face significant challenges to improve employee performance and maximize their return on workforce investment. Optimizing labor performance is often the single biggest opportunity for productivity improvement and cost reduction in any manufacturing environment. Investing in work measurement training allows operations to do more with less, by delivering significant performance gains and unlocking new levels of productivity that eclipse the capabilities of alternative solutions, e.g., the use of a stop watch to set a production standard. Properly implemented, the MODAPTS® work measurement system optimizes operations with: •Increased employee engagement •Reduced management overhead •Reliable labor tracking •More effective training and coaching MODAPTS® is the best predetermined time standards system you can use to control those costs and transform the way you direct, monitor and measure your workforces productivity. This tool can help you coach and motivate workers to achieve a “high performance” culture. MODAPTS® is Respect for People, and Respect for People is required for the longterm success and viability of any legitimate organization. www.eisbrennerpg.com Return to Table of Contents Modapts® in south Africa Article from focus the official newsletter of the Occupational Therapy association of south Africa (OTASA) ...continued on next page ...continued on next page Return to Table of Contents ...continued on next page ...continued on next page ...continued on next page ...continued on next page Return to Table of Contents Return to Table of Contents Connecting the Dots between Education, Innovation and Productivity on the Production Floor By Ed Eisbrenner O ften times it takes more than original thinking to be innovative. But how do these programs help manufacturing entries become more productive world class companies and innovators? Just ask Ed Eisbrenner. Just three years ago Eisbrenner launched the first ever on line training program for the Basic MODAPTS® work measurement system. Since then as a board certified MODAPTS® instructor he has won acclaim, the CEO and founder of Eisbrenner Productivity Group, a leading instructor in work measurement intelligence and productivity provider to Fortune 500 companies and non- profit businesses across North America. He has lectured to engineering classes at college campuses and most recently the key note speaker at the 22nd Annual Congreso Industrial Conference in Monterrey, Mexico. “It’s about believing in what you are doing to promote the dignity of the worker as well as having a passion for results. It’s up to each of us to use our abilities to the fullest do more to craft a world that we would be proud to leave to the next generation.” Eisbrenner’ s network connects companies to other board certified MODAPTS instructors and established world class engineering service and training con- tractors enabling them to harness productivity intelligence for resiliency and agility in the world’s fast paced manufacturing arena.
