chain driven cylinders, and a thermally protected
motor, produce a quality shredder and peace of mind

From production to operation, Dahle takes environmental conservation very seriously. This is why Dahle
shredders operate using our intuitive SmartPower
Energy Management System. This multi-stage system
reduces power consumption after ten minutes of sitting idle (sleep mode), and completely powers down
to a 0% energy draw after 20 minutes of inactivity.
This makes Dahle the most energy efficient shredders

Fine dust, or indoor air pollution, is created by everyday mechanical devices such as printers, copiers, and
even document shredders. Each time paper is shred,
tiny dust particles are produced and travel through
the air. The smaller the particles are, the more harmful they can be to your health. As a solution, these
shredders feature a dust filtration system that collects
the fine dust around the cutting cylinders, and forces
them into a specialized 3 ply filter on the back of each
machine. This environmentally friendly filter permanently traps up to 98% of the fine dust, and provides
a cleaner, healthier work environment.
