PROGRAMME
Bicol Chapter of the Biology Teachers Association of
the Philippines (BIOTA) will hold its 4th Annual Regional
Convention and Scientific Sessions on August 28-30,
2014 at Legazpi City.
AUG 28, 2014 (THURSDAY)
With the theme “Innovations in Biology Education in
the New Curriculum,” this year’s BIOTA convention
focuses on sharing practices and experiences in
employing innovations in biology research and
education to strengthen curricular reforms.
The very reputable Divine Word College of Legazpi
(High School Campus, Washington Drive, Legazpi City)
is the venue of the plenary lectures, seminar-lectures,
hands-on demonstrations, workshops and poster paper
presentations during the convention. All the activities
are designed for imparting of current researches and
experiences on continuing professional development to
enhance capabilities of biology teachers, and help
achieve excellence in Biology education and research in
the country.
