Avermann horizontal balers have been developed for
compacting larger quantities of waste for use at recycling
and sorting stations and in industrial premises where large
quantities of waste are generated. Horizontal balers are
also well suited for shopping centres, printing works and
other places where a continuous operation is required.
The machines are of advanced design, highly efficient and
have the very latest technology controlling them. There
is a wide range of additional equipment and accessories
available which can be tailored to individual customer
needs. Various sorting lines are also available, and these
can be combined with the baler to make a highly effective
waste processing installation. The high quality levels
ensure a long service life. Avermann has a worldwide
reputation for horizontal balers.
Avermann horizontal balers are used primarily in
compacting cardboard, paper, plastic or ordinary waste.
Automatic compaction means that the bales of waste
require the minimum of space and are designed to provide
an easy and cost effective transportation solution. The
horizontal balers are marketed in several versions with a
variety of motor sizes. They are available with manual and
fully automatic horizontal adjustment, and some of them
require just the minimum of manual operation. In most
cases, they represent an essential investment, easy to
justify in terms of economy, environment and safe working
practices.
The horizontal balers do not take up much space. In
each case, we tailor the solution specifically to suit the
premises, the types of waste with particular emphasis
on operating efficiencies and environmental benefits.

Additional equipment:
The AVOS 88/108 is the smallest of the horizontal balers in the
range. This model is mainly used for cardboard and paper, but
can also be adapted to several types of material. It is sold in
two motor versions: 7.5 and 11 kW.

The 147/147 K models are smaller horizontal balers and are
used for various types of waste. They can also be used for card,
plastic, etc. and also for textiles, woven glass fibre and wooden
crates. The 147K can also be used for expansive materials. The
machine employs manual wire tying.The bales can be tied
horizontally (147) or cross-banded horizontally and vertically
(147K). Suitable steel ties must be used.

In terms of size, the AVOS 147/147 K range has quite a small
footprint but it produces comparatively large bales. The
motor rating of the AVOS 147 is 15 kW and is well suited for
processing up to 2 tonnes of raw material per hour.

The AVOS 1211 is the very latest in state-of-the-art horizontal
balers. It is incredibly flexible and space-saving, of compact
design and with every advantage in terms of functionality and
quality. The baler is equipped with separate heater and cooler
functions, and a filter circuit for hydraulic oil. The horizontal
baler is used for cardboard and paper. The design allows the
baler to be fed both at regular intervals and continuously. The
bales are tied vertically four times.

AVOS 1410 A5 is one of our most powerful models. It is marketed with a choice of motor sizes that determine the speed
and amount of compaction. The 2 x 45 kW version compacts 20
tonnes per hour into bales up to 700 kg in weight. The bales are
tied five times to ensure stability, even on expansive materials.
The AVOS 1410 A5 is equipped with separate heating and
cooling functions, as well as a filter circuit for hydraulic oil. The
machines have a number of automatic functions, including
automatic bale-tying and adjustment of the horizontal channel
to ensure minimum manual operation.

The AVOS 1410/1411 are available in various motor sizes that
determine the speed and amount of compaction. Are ideally
suited for cardboard, paper, plastic film, aluminium, and
household waste, etc. The 45 kW versions compacts 18 tonnes
per hour into bales up to 600 kg in weight. The AVOS 1410 is
equipped with separate heater and cooler functions, as well as
a filter circuit for hydraulic oil. Energy efficient operation and
rapid cycle times are achieved by the use of hydraulic pumps.
The machines have a number of automatic functions, including
bale tying and adjustment of the horizontal channel to ensure
minimum manual operation.

The AVOS 1810 is our top-of-the-range model . It is marketed
