Participants’ number for EVS: 1 volunteer/country* (age between 18 – 30 years old),
satisfying the conditions bellow:
- A minimum level of English required
- Availability during the process of learning and applying
- Flexibility of working in a multicultural environment
- Motivation to learn, to develop and to pass forward the learning outcomes
!!! Youngsters facing fewer opportunities (as they are described in the Erasmus+ program)
have priority.
*Turkey will provide 2 EVS volunteers, as agreed during the preparation phase.
Total of participants: 6
Venue: Accommoda)on will be in apartments; for meals there will be the
possibility to cook and each volunteer will receive a monthly allowance for food
(besides the pocket money)
Ac%vi%es at F.O.R.T.E.S Youth Centre
Project aim: To develop a quality management in Erasmus + youth projects
within a network of partners, mee)ng the needs of organiza)ons by sharing
best prac)ces and to achieve the Europe 2020 requirements.
Project descrip%on: „Involvement to Quality” is a mul)cultural project, which
includes a study visit, a PBA, a training course and a EVS stage, being a
partnership between promoters from six countries, their goal being
development of a management system of the Erasmus + projects, inside of a
network, in order to sa)sfy the organiza)onal needs through sharing and
exchange of good prac)ces. The five promoters, besides ATCE-SR, from
Romania are from: Macedonia, Malta, Georgia, Italy and Turkey.
The first ac)vity, the study visit, involves a total number of 14 youth workers
having over 18 years and will take place over five days of ac)vi)es in Ramnicu
Sarat, Romania, from 11th -17th of September 2015. The project will con)nue
with a PBA, also implemented in Ramnicu Sarat, from 2nd to 8th of November
2015, taking part in it the same number of 14 par)cipants over 18 years. In
order to ensure results and the con)nua)on of collabora)ons planned in detail
in the previous ac)vi)es, we will implement and a training course that will
represent the culmina)on of learning, from 19th to 29th of March 2016 in
Turin, Italy. This training will gather 21 youth workers aged over 18 years from
partner organiza)ons.
For the applicability of these three ac)vi)es, we will end
with an EVS which will take place over three months, from June 1st to
September 1st, 2016, in Ramnicu Sarat. Each partner will send an EVS
volunteer, having between 18-30 years, which will be integrated into the
community, par)cularly in project management ac)vi)es - wriben and developed
by the volunteers together with youngsters from the local community.
EVS Objec%ve: -Development of the prac)cal abili)es for designing, implemen)ng
and evalua)on of the projects undertaken in the Erasmus +context, through
involving of 6 EVS volunteers from Italy, Macedonia, Malta, Turkey and Georgia
over a 3 month stage implemented at Ramnicu Sarat, in partnership
with schools and high schools, in an innova)ve quality system.
Financial informa%on
Transport (refunded 100% within the limits below):
Georgia: 275 Euros/person
Macedonia: 275 Euros/person
Malta: 275 Euros/person
Italy: 275 Euros/person
Turkey: 275 Euros/person
*The transport costs covers the distance from each partner’ NGO’s city to the city
where the project is held (Râmnicu Sărat).
**If travel costs exceed the amount budgeted in the project, the par)cipants
will cover it individually. The organizers will only be able to reimburse
par)cipants 100% of the maximum travel costs indicated in the travel budget.
Visa (visa costs refunded 100% within the limits below):
Turkey: 120 Euros + transport for obtaining visa 50 Euros (3 months visa)
Georgia: 120 Euros + transport for obtaining visa 20 Euros (3 months visa)
Health insurance: Each sending organiza)on will enrol their volunteer in the
CIGNA insurance program. The hos)ng organiza)on will ensure their support in
order to provide health insurance for all the EVS volunteers.
Pocket money: 60 Euros/month
Weekly ac%vi%es: The volunteers will learn how to write, implement and evaluate
a project, according to standards established together with all the partners during
previous mee)ngs (Study Visit, PBA, and Training Course). They will receive
support from the coordinator and the local volunteers, and in teams they will have
ac)vi)es such as:
-brainstorming for ideas and selng topic of projects
-establishing the SMART objec)ves
-selec)ng target group
-making the agenda and planning all the ac)vi)es
-preparing documents, materials, etc.
The project will be implemented locally, in Rm Sarat, with the coopera)on of local
schools and high schools.
The volunteers will have also a mentor to support their development during EVS.
How to apply: Each sending organiza)on will organize a selec)on process, taking
into account the EVS Charter, in order to send 1/2 volunteers.
The applica)on should consist in: Applica)on form, CV and mo)va)onal leber.
Amer the above documents are filled in by the volunteers and sent to the hos)ng
organiza)on, there will be also a Skype mee)ng between the volunteers and
Hos)ng organiza)on in order to make a final decision and to discuss further
details about the EVS stage/project.
