Best Regards, Ross and Kirk Dove Managing Partners Heritage Global Partners Item Descriptions: The Vacuum Leak Detector Machine and the Singulator/ Deflasher are used on sterile, 0.85 ml, low-density polyethylene unit dose vials. It utilizes Blow/Fill/Seal (B/F/S) technology for filling and packaging a drug product. The Vacuum Leak Detector forms a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) bottle (vial), aseptically fills it with product solution, and hermetically seals it in one continuous operation. The B/F/S machine forms a card of twenty-four LDPE vials; grouped in six sections of four vials each, aseptically fills them, and hermetically seals each vial with product solution. A complete card of vials is conveyed warm out of the B/F/S machine via a round belt conveyor to a packaging area for deflashing and separation into single vials. Contact: We are now accepting offers. The card is registered at the in-feed of the unit via a card stop and registration notch molded into the card during forming. The registered card is then gripped by the card clamps on the clamping groves and transferred into the machine via the transfer shuttle. A punch out press will then separate the flash from the vial packs. The six packs of four vials each are then moved by the vacuum arm into a series of cutting wheels, which singulates each vial into each pack of four. The singulated vials then lie in a horizontal position to allow the vials to be picked up and transported to the next process. The cycle time for the deflasher/singulator varies between six and fourteen seconds. Location: Elgin, IL New in late 2008. Never Used. Still in Original Manufacturers Packaging. Original Acquisition Cost: $500,000 Wilco Vacuum L e a k D e t e c t i o n M a c h i n e Wilco Vacuum Leak Detection Machine The singulated vials are picked from the out-feed of the Deflasher/Singulator and transported to the in-feed of the vacuum leak detecting machine. They are automatically inserted into “pucks.” The “pucks” are then moved to the in-feed star where they will reach the center turntable of the rotary vacuum leak testing machine. The rotary vacuum leak tester will have enough test stations required for a through put of one hundred and twenty vials per minute leak testing on the machine. The “pucks” are moved into position below one of the multiple testing stations and hermetically sealed in a test chamber. The test chambers move with the center turntable as the testing is carried out. Leaking samples are moved into a rejection area, while good product is transported out of the machine to the collating conveyor process. The Vacuum testing machine will provide to the collating conveyor system an indexing signal, every one hundred and twenty vials that have passed inspection, to initiate an index of the collating conveyor.
