Summary
Enrico Fels is Managing Assistant at the Center for Global Studies (CGS), University of Bonn. He has a Masters degree
from the Australian National University, where he also was a T.B. Millar Scholar in Strategic and Defence Studies, and
holds a Bachelors degree from Ruhr-University Bochum. Before joining CGS, he worked as a Research Assistant for the Institute of International Relations at the Helmut Schmidt University/University of the Federal Armed Forces, Hamburg, as well as
at the Chair of International Relations, Ruhr-University Bochum. Enrico Fels is an elected member of the Faculty Council
of the Faculty of Arts (University of Bonn) as well as the Faculty’s Structural Commission. He is also the Managing Editor
of
the
book
series
‘Global
Power
Shift
–
Comparative
Analysis
and
Perspectives’
(http://www.springer.com/series/10201). He pursues a PhD on middle power allegiance in Asia-Pacific and is particularly interested in traditional and non-traditional security issues, esp. in an European, Central Asian and Asian-Pacific
context, as well as power relations among members of the G20.
