be possible without the dedication
of the Volunteer Family. Marathon
Classic volunteers are regularly
praised by the LPGA players and

April Featured Charities
Each Month we will highlight a few of the Charities supported by your work at
the 2015 Marathon Classic presented by Owens-Corning and O-I
Heartbeat of Toledo
Heartbeat is a pregnancy center that offers free prenatal and parenting programs to
help new and expectant moms and dads develop effective, loving parenting skills.
Needed baby items are earned for each program completed.
The Friendly Center
The Friendly Center mission is to empower our neighbors in north Toledo with the
resources to transform their lives. We serve youth, families and adults.
iTaalk
Our mission at iTaalk is two-fold: granting assistive technology devices to individuals
with autism, and educating families and service providers on the benefits and uses of
assistive technology devices with children with special needs. We at iTaalk find the
functional uses for assistive technology can decrease the typical burdens an Autism
Spectrum Disorder can present for parents, caregivers and school districts, while at
the same time increasing independence and self-esteem for the child.
Do you know of a Service Organization that might be interested in
service at the Marathon Classic? Please Contact Heather Warga at
the Tournament Office (419-531-3277). Please help your friends and
neighbors learn of the service opportunities in support of great
charities.
