SHERMINE SHAHRIVAR
Well known in Germany, Shermine Shahrivar, born on 20 th November 1982 in Iran, has appeared in various campaigns
and events for DeGrisogono, Chopard, Schwarzkopf, VW, Chiroc, Meissen, Michalski, American Apparel, Guiseppe
Zanotti and Maybach Cars. She has worked with world renowned photographers like Mario Testino, Greg Lotus and
Sante D’Orazio.
Off the runway, Shermine is going to appear in the new Wolfgang Petersen Film “Vier gegen die Bank” in 2016. She
also starred in “Shanghai Baby” (2006) alongside Bai Ling and Luke Goss as well as in “Alarm for Cobra 11” (episode
300.
In 2014, Shermine gave birth to her Daughter Daliah and put her career on hold to become a strong advocate for raising
her child with an emphasis on family values and sustainability. She also took on a major role in contributing and raising
attention for the American charity “Habitat for Humanity.”
Her career started as Miss Europe in 2005. Never settling for only being considered “a beautiful woman” she decided to
study political sciences in Germany and moved to NY shortly after in order to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute
until 2009.
Since July 2016, Shermine has been representing the brand Thomas Sabo Watches & Jewelry as brand ambassador next
to Georgia May Jagger. She aspires to become a health coach and has been studying at the New York Institute for
Integrative Nutrition.
Shermine currently resides between New York and Berlin and is fluent in Farsi, English, French and German.
