THE CIA IN THE VATICAN contains
over 350 secret documents: cables, correspondence, reports, and photographs from the
Office of Strategic Services (OSS) and the
CIA which for the very first time reveal uncomfortable Vatican matters that were kept
“secret”. Thus, the issues discussed in the
book affirm the reality described by a former agent of the papal secret service, known
as 'The Entity'. He said: «At the Vatican,
everything that is not sacred is secret».

Frattini has been the director and writer of nearly
twenty research documentaries for the leading
Spanish TV networks and collaborates regularly
on various radio and television programs. He has
given courses and lectures on Islamic terrorism
security to various police forces as well as
security and intelligence units in Spain, the
UK, Portugal, Romania and the United States.
In 2013 he received the National Award for
Investigative Journalism awarded by the Italian
press for his research on the 'Vatileaks' case
included in his book THE CROWS OF THE
VATICAN and in July of the same year he received
the Annual Award Strillaerischia (Italy) for the
Best Special Envoy for his work in Afghanistan.
