Installation Instructions
Contents include one Half Top Net and one package of extra strap keepers.


The Half Top Net is easier to install with the hard top removed or the soft top down or removed.
The Motion-Tek label on the Half Top Net locates in the lower right rear of the jeep.

Installing Strap into Cam Buckle - Route the strap as
indicated in each instruction set. Depress lever on cam
buckle, which creates an open slot in the buckle. Push
pointed end of strap through open slot from the back side
of the buckle (opposite side of lever) . Pull strap through
and release lever. (Shown at left)
(Do not tighten straps until all are attached.)
(Caution: Route straps so they do NOT wrap
around or restrict use of seat belts.)
1. Installing Half Top Net - Align net on top of Jeep roll
cage cross bar with label in lower right rear. Route front
strap off the side of roll cage behind the vertical post.
Then route inside around vertical post and up and through
the cam buckle as shown above. Repeat for front strap on
opposite side.
3. Wrap the fourth strap around the roll cage and hook to
ring as shown above. (Caution: Route straps so they
do NOT interfere or restrict use of seat belts.)
2. Wrap the second and third strap around the outside of
the roll cage and through the cam buckle as shown.
(Note: On some models, the cam buckles are toward the
inside of the jeep.)
4. Route the flat hook toward the side of the Jeep and
hook under the edge of the Jeep body in location shown
above. Repeat for opposite side.

5. After all straps have been attached to the roll cage,
tighten the straps a little at a time starting with the front
and working toward the rear. The straps should angle
slightly toward the rear to ensure the net is pulled tight.
Make sure the net is centered in the roll cage.
6. After the final adjustments are made and the net is tight
and centered, slide each strap end into the strap keeper
provided. The strap keeper should be positioned near the
end of the strap to secure as shown above.
The hard and / or soft top may be installed with the Jeep LJ Half Top Net attached to the roll cage. The Half Top
Net does not interfere with soft top window installation or removal.
