On the 15th of October LEO will host its RoboCafé. Regional developments in robotics will be
discussed. Members of LEO and other interested partners are invited to join.
Dennis Schipper (Managing director of Demcon) will open the event by welcoming all participants,
followed by Benno Lansdorp who will give an in-depth presentation on Demcon’s medical robotics
program. Finally there will be two live-demonstrations. Demcon’s Teleflex, a surgical telemanipulation
system, and their system for CT-guided percutaneous needle placement in the abdomen and thorax.
Stefan Spanjer is the founder of KITE Robotics. KITE is a start-up that provides the number one
robotic window cleaning solution of the future and this is their first truly public appearance. It promises
to be an exiting perspective into one of the most promising young companies out there.
RoboCafé
The RoboCafé is an event to strengthen ties between the different organizations involved in robotics. It
