 Invitation RoboCafé October 15, 2015, 16.00-­‐18.30 Demcon, Institutenweg 25, 7521PH Enschede Strengthening robotics in the eastern Netherlands Developments in robotics are progressing rapidly. The eastern Netherlands is one of those regions where technological ideas and innovations in robotics are born and bred. LEO, Center for Service Robotics wants to strengthen these initiatives and on October 15th we will host our next RoboCafé at Demcon where a presentation will be given on several robotic systems intended for medical applications such as Image Guided Interventions and Therapy. Besides this presentation a tour through the company premises will be provided. Furthermore, Stefan Spanjer will present his start-­‐up KITE Robotics to the world. They build robots that are capable of washing windows of some of the largest buildings out there. KITE Robotics specializes in developing innovative solutions for the fast, precise, safe, and cost-­‐effective cleaning of building exteriors. The patented solutions are sustainable and avoid human labor in hazardous situations. RoboCafé The RoboCafé is designed to strengthen existing networks in an informal manner and to spread information throughout these networks. It’s one of the many initiatives through which robotics in the region is boosted. Save the Date! The following RoboCafé will be held on November 26, 2015 at ESPS in Almelo.
