KERALAPIRAVI NOVEMBER 1ST
Literary Club of Al-Ihsan English School celebrated “KERALAPIRAVI”—day with
colorful events like Essay Writing competition for high school section and Quiz
competition for UP section students. Fouza.K Of 8th A class got first prize in essay
writing and LUKMAN.OP from 7th C class got first in quiz competition. The same
day 10th standard students made the campus “CLEAN CAMPUS” and announced
as plastic restricted campus. Students honored the teachers with wishing cards
and chocolates.
CHILDREN’S DAY NOVEMBER 14TH
Al-Ihsan English School conducted an attractive rally with 1st and 2nd standard
students under the leadership of principal. The Nehru’s photos on children’s cap
and colourful balloons were attraction of the rally. High school student
conducted “share experience” programme on the same day in school auditorium.
students from different classes shared their valuable experiences in front of
others. The Principal, Vice Principal and Other teachers were listeners.
WORLD DIABETES DAY NOVEMBER 14TH
Simultaneously science club remembered world diabetes day by conducting
‘poster making’ contest. The informative posters displayed the creativity of the
students. 10th A from high school and 6th D from UP section dominated the prizes
of the contest.
ARTS—BOOM-2014 NOVEMBER (28, 29)
Al-Ihsan arts festival of 2014 academic year (BOOM-2014) conducted on
November 28 and 29. Mr Abdurrahman Ahsani inaugurated the ceremony and
principal, vice principal and the manager felicitated the festival.
There were four groups to compete each other with four colour names;
they were red, green, blue and yellow. Again the classification of students into
junior, sub-junior and senior made the competitions more reliable. Students
themselves organise their group events and managed nicely with the supporting
hands of some teachers. More than 120 items of programmes held on 6 stages in
limited time. Computerized recording and scoring saved the time consuming. The
programme started with light music and continued with mappila song, patriotic
song, different language elocutions, Quran recitation, burda etc....
The action songs of sub juniors were attractive for the audience. The last
event of “BOOM-2014”, duff programme was the event students waiting for
patiently. Both sub-junior and senior students had shown their talents on the
stage. With 1039 points Green House betrayed all other groups, red house
followed them with 1001 points and blue house scored 956 to achieve third
position. Honourable principal handed over trophies to the winners and finally
the programme winded up with national anthem.
