Heidi’s Village takes visitors on an emotional journey back through time to the Swiss alpine landscape of the late 19th century. In front
of Heidi’s House, they are greeted by Heidi and
Peter’s pet animals. The guided tours present
an authentic picture of the world of Heidi. From
the storage cellar, guests are led up to the rustic
parlour, where Heidi and Peter await. They can
also visit Heidi’s room, which is simply furnished,
just as it would have been at the time. In addition, there is an impressive collection of Heidi
books in numerous languages.

Heidi adventure trail, part 1
➀ Start of the walk is the Heidi shop / Johanna Spyri Museum / Wine shop at the Bahn-
hofstrasse in Maienfeld. From here the trail will
lead you through the historical city of Maienfeld.
➁ Walk until you see the sign ➂ to Rofels ➃.
Following this road you will arrive directly at the
Heidi village, with the original Heidi house ➄
➉. This is where Heidi lived, more than 100 years ago. The road leads you to Hotel / Restaurant Heidihof ➅ with a large terrace where

you can relax and enjoy fine meals and drinks.
On the road again, you will reach the Heidi
well ➆. From here the trail leads you through
the vineyards and the city of Maienfeld, back
to the start of the trail ➀. Time: 1 – 1 ½ h.
