E G N A R HEIDI ero d a c s u T y k Pin Heidi Range is best known for being the longest-serving member of the multi-platinum-selling British girl group Sugababes. The singer-songwriter achieved two UK number-one albums as well as selling multiple number-one records all around the globe. Sugababes were named in the Guinness World Records as the most successful British Female Act of the Century with an unparalleled 26 hit singles since 2000. She has written and sung with music industry legends including: James Brown, Bruno Mars, Ne-Yo, Jamie Cullum, Dallas Austin, Linda Perry (4 Non Blondes), Diane Warren, William Orbit, Cathy Dennis and original Supremes member Patti LaBelle. Heidi is both a BRIT and MTV Award winner, as well being part of the first girl group to play the main stage at Glastonbury. Other highlights of her career have included singing on the Band Aid 20 record as well as performing at The Royal Variety Show and Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday concert in Hyde Park. Keen for a new challenge, Heidi couldn’t turn down the offer to take part in the 2012 season of the ITV1 series Dancing on Ice. As expected, her warm personality shone through on the programme and after working so hard at such an unknown discipline to her, Heidi did incredibly well to finish fifth in the series. After discovering a new love for skating, Heidi went on to complete the Dancing on Ice live national tour, of which she adored every minute. Heidi’s recent television credits include: as a contestant on BBC1’s Celebrity MasterChef and BBC2’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks; presenting for ITV’s Daybreak; featuring on ITV’s Text Santa; Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch and being sent to Australia as a panellist on ITV2’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here Now! Heidi is a proud ambassador for Breast Cancer Campaign, helping to raise awareness and vital funds to support the work of Breast Cancer Campaign’s Tissue Bank. She was the face of the ‘Paint Your Pinkie Pink’ and ‘Early Detection’ campaigns. Her previous musical theatre credits include: Mamma Mia! in London’s West End as part of BBC’s Children in Need; Robin Hood (Liverpool Playhouse); Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Liverpool Empire Theatre); as Princess Jasmin in Aladdin (Crosby Theatre, Liverpool) and as Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Crosby Theatre, Liverpool). Growing up as a Happy Days fan, Heidi can’t wait to be part of the tour and is almost as excited to travel round the UK as her travelling partner and Pinkette, Bettie, her pug puppy!
