ON L I N E BA N K I NG
If you’re a SWS, FSB Online Banking user, please note that the deadline to schedule
new transfers in your SWS, FSB Internet Banking profile is 3 p.m. on April 10. At that
time, Online Banking will switch to "View Only" modeyou'll have access to view
balances, history and statements only.
Your transition to PlainsCapital Online Banking will be simple and seamless. Below
are detailed instructions to help you log in for the first time.
YOUR FIRST LOGIN
Unless you’ve heard otherwise from us, your Online Banking username will remain
the same.
The first time you log in to PlainsCapital Online Banking on or
after April 13, 2015, you’ll need to verify your identity with a
Secure Access Code and create a new password. A Secure Access
Code is a one-time use code that allows you to authenticate your
identity and securely log in to Online Banking. We’ll deliver your
unique Secure Access Code to you instantly via email, phone call
or SMS text based on the information you have on file with us.
Fig. 2
Please follow these steps for your first-time log in:
1. Navigate to PlainsCapital.com and locate the Online Banking
Login box (see Fig. 1).
Fig. 3
2. Input your current username in the field provided and leave the
password field blank.
3. Check the box for “First-time Log In” and press Log In.
4. Choose how you’d prefer to receive your one-time Secure Access
Code—via email, phone or SMS text message—and click Submit
(see Fig. 2). Please note: If your contact information is not
up-to-date, please contact us at 866.762.8392 to provide updated
information.
Fig. 4
5. Once you receive your Secure Access Code, enter it in the field
provided. Click Continue (see Fig. 3).
6. Finally, you’ll be prompted to update your profile (see Fig. 4)
and create a new password (see Fig.5).
Please note that the next time you log in you should use your new
password, and you'll be prompted to register your computer. If
you’re using a private computer, you can choose “activate my
computer for future use” which authorizes us to store a security
certificate on your computer and will eliminate the need to use a
Secure Access Code during each login. If you’re using a public
computer, for security purposes don’t activate the computer for
future use. You’ll only need to enter a Secure Access Code when
you use a different computer to log in or if you delete the security
certificate or “cookie” that we’ve stored on your computer. As a
reminder, never share your username or password with anyone.

BI L L PAY
If you are a SWS, FSB Bill Pay user, schedule all payments to be paid by April 3 at 12:00 p.m. noon (Central Time). Because
we operate a different Bill Pay system, you will need to re-register all of your prior bill payments in PlainsCapital Bill Pay.
This includes payees, scheduled payments, and recurring payments.
SCHEDULING BILL PAYMENTS
There will be a few changes to how your bill payments are processed and debited from your account. With former SWS, FSB
Bill Pay, you selected the “Pay Date”—or the date you wanted your payment to arrive. With PlainsCapital Bill Pay, you’ll
schedule your payments based on the “Processing Date”—or the date that the full amount of electronic payments will be
debited from your account. The estimated arrival date of your payment will be displayed based on the processing date you
select. For electronic payments, allow two days from the processing date for payments to arrive in your biller’s account.
Allow three to five days for check payments to arrive.

PlainsCapital Bank offers two options for overdraft coverage. Please review the following information for important
details about your overdraft options. After 30 days, if your account meets the eligibility requirements, a Discretionary
Overdraft Privilege limit may be assigned to your account. You will be presented with the opportunity to opt-out of
the Discretionary Overdraft Privilege Service through a future mailing, or you may opt out by visiting any of our
branch locations.
WHAT IS AN OVERDRAFT?
An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but the Bank pays
the transaction on your behalf.
WHAT ARE MY OVERDRAFT OPTIONS?
We can cover your overdrafts in two different ways:
▪ We offer overdraft protection transfers. If your account is overdrawn, funds can automatically be transferred from a linked savings account or personal line of credit. There is no charge to sign up for overdraft protection transfers, and you’ll only pay for it if you use it. For each day on which a transfer occurs to cover overdrafts, a fee of $5 is charged. This is the least expensive way to cover a potential overdraft.
▪
We offer Discretionary Overdraft Privilege Service.
WHAT IS DISCRETIONARY OVERDRAFT PRIVILEGE SERVICE?
With this privilege, if your account is overdrawn we may pay your overdraft items up to a set limit, which is generally
$800 for eligible personal checking accounts.
Overdraft payments for authorized transactions are made at our sole discretion. If we do not authorize or pay an
overdraft, your transaction will be declined or your item will be returned unpaid. We may authorize and pay
overdrafts for checks you write and transactions made using your checking account number. We will not authorize
and pay overdrafts for ATM transactions or one-time (e.g. non-recurring) debit card transactions unless you have
affirmatively given us your consent to do so.
WHAT FEES WILL I BE CHARGED IF PLAINSCAPITAL PAYS MY OVERDRAFT?
We will charge you a fee of $35 each time we pay an overdraft item. You will be charged for no more than four (4)
overdraft item fees and NSF item fees per day. An overdraft item fee will not be charged if (a) the amount of the item
that results in an overdrawn balance is $5 or less, or (b) the available balance in the account is overdrawn by $5 or less
at the end of the business day after all transactions have posted to the account.
HOW CAN I LEARN MORE ABOUT OVERDRAFTS?
For more information including details on the order in which we process items, please review the Consumer Deposit
Account Agreement and Services Disclosure included with this guide, stop by any PlainsCapital Bank branch, or call
us at 866.762.8392.

you instantly via email, phone call or SMS text based on the information you have on file with us. Once you authenticate
