TERMS AND CONDITIONS GOVERNING OCBC CREDIT CARDS MID AUTUMN
FESTIVAL SPEND & REDEEM 2012 PROMOTION
Promotion Period
1.
The Promotion Period is between 1 August 2012 and 30 September 2012 (both
dates inclusive) or such other period as may be determined by Oversea-Chinese
Banking Corporation Limited (the “OCBC”) in its absolute discretion.
2.
Qualifying Spend Period: From 1 August 2012 to 9 September 2012
Redemption Period: From the 27 August to 30 September 2012
Eligibility
3.
A person who holds an NTUC Plus! Visa / Plus! Visa / Generic / Co-Brand / Affinity
Credit Card issued by OCBC (other than Private Label, Debit and Corporate Cards)
(collectively the “Credit Card”) and whose account is in good standing with OCBC
(as determined by OCBC at its sole discretion) (a “Credit Cardmember”) shall be
eligible to participate in the OCBC Mid Autumn Festival Spend & Redeem 2012
Promotion (the “Promotion”).
Promotion
4.
The first 500 Credit Cardmembers who successfully register with the following
details and spend a minimum of S$1,200 on their Credit Cards during the Promotion
Period get to redeem one (1) box of 9-piece Mooncake Pralines from The Shop @
mezza9, Grand Hyatt Singapore:

5.
Each box consists of the following flavours: Raspberry, Mocca, White Rocher, Dark
Rocher, Lotus paste with Apricot Milk Chocolate, Black Sesame White Chocolate,
Red Bean with Almond Dark Chocolate and Candied Kumquat Milk Chocolate.
6.
Both Principal and Supplementary Credit Cardmembers are eligible to participate in
the Promotion and will be given one (1) SMS entry each.
7.
Each Credit Cardmember is entitled to one (1) SMS entry only.
8.
OCBC reserves the right to debit the retail value of the redeemed item from any
Credit Cardmember’s account in the event that the Credit Cardmember who has
successfully redeemed the item terminates the Card account within six (6) months
from 30 September 2012 or reverses their transactions made during the Promotion
Period within six (6) months from the 30 September 2012.
Proof of Transactions
9.
All redemptions of 9-piece Mooncake Pralines from The Shop @ mezza9, Grand
Hyatt Singapore have to be evidenced by (i) an SMS sent by OCBC to the Credit
Cardmembers informing them of their success in redeeming the item (“Successful

SMS”), (ii) the Credit Cardmembers’ NRIC and (iii) one of the Credit Cards at The
Shop @ mezza9, Grand Hyatt Singapore.
10. All retail transactions recorded in the statement (including online, phone, overseas,
recurring payment transactions, etc.) are qualified for the Promotion., Cash
advances and balance transfers are excluded from the Promotion. Retail
transactions charged to the Credit Card but have yet to be posted to the Credit Card
Account will not be taken into account in the computation of amount spent. OCBC
will only take into account transactions posted between 00:00am on 1 August 2012
and 23:59pm on 9 September 2012 (both dates inclusive) when computing the
amount spent for the Promotion.
11. Credit Cardmembers are not permitted to aggregate spending between Principal
and Supplementary Cardmembers.
12. All spends on all eligible Principal and Supplementary Credit Cards of a Credit
Cardmember during the Promotion Period will be tracked based on his/her NRIC
number and be consolidated to compute his/her total spend for purpose of the
Promotion.
13. With the exclusion of CashFlo Card, for Credit Cardmembers who are on instalment
plans, only the first instalment amount of new instalment plans charged to the Credit
Card can be used as qualifying spend for the Promotion. The rest of the unbilled
instalment amount will not be taken into consideration. Existing instalment plans will
also not be taken into consideration.
14. For CashFlo Card, the full transaction amount charged to the Credit Card within the
Promotion Period will be taken as qualifying spend for purpose of the Promotion.
Redemption Mechanics
15. Redemption items are available for redemption strictly on first-come-first-served
basis.
16. The Promotion is limited to the first 500 Credit Cardmembers who meet the
promotion criteria specified in these terms and conditions.
17. Credit Cardmembers’ request for any change in flavours of pralines will not be
entertained by OCBC or Grand Hyatt Singapore.
18. Credit Cardmembers’ request for any reservation or transferring of redemption items
will not be entertained by OCBC or Grand Hyatt Singapore.
19. Redemption can be carried out from 27 August - 30 September 2012 (both dates
inclusive), from 11 am – 11pm daily at the following address:

20. The redemption items under the Promotion are not exchangeable for cash, credit or
in kind, whether in whole or in part. OCBC reserves the right to substitute any of the
redemption items with an item of similar value.

21. OCBC shall not be responsible for the quality, merchantability or the fitness for any
purpose or any other aspect of any redemption item/product. Without prejudice to
the generality of the foregoing, OCBC shall not at any time be responsible or held
liable for any damage or defect in any redemption item/product, and/or for any loss,
injury, damage or harm suffered or incurred by or in connection with the use of any
redemption item/product by any person.
22. OCBC reserves the right at its absolute discretion to suspend or terminate the
Promotion or vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions or any matter
relating to the Promotion at any time without notice including but not limited to the
eligibility of any Credit Cardmember and the dates specified in the Promotion.
23. All participants in the Promotion irrevocably permit and authorise OCBC to disclose,
reveal and divulge information regarding their information and particulars to any
person (including but not limited to the parties involved in organising, promoting and
conducting the Promotion) as OCBC deems fit.
24. OCBC’s decisions on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final and binding
on all participants. No correspondence or appeal shall be entertained by OCBC. In
the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any
brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these terms
and conditions shall prevail.
25. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the
participants in the Promotion irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of
the courts of Singapore. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by
these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third
Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
