The CCS has services, programs, and people who understand the issues and work hard to find solutions. We speak their language. We know that CCS does a better job at offering the total experience through our Governed Choice programs, our extracurricular opportunities, and our flexibility in working with military students than any other school or district in this region. From the arts to veterinary medicine, from athletics to Quiz Bowl, from technology to classical studies, from International Baccalaureate to fire safety-unlimited opportunities exist for students in the CCS. Whatever your living preference-rural, urban, suburban, we offer strong research based programs. No other school district in the region offers the complete program in the arts that is offered in CCS. The blending of cultures, the personal experiences of having lived around the world by many students, and the cutting edge approach to teaching and learning are all part of a day in the life of a student in the CCS. We have expanded programs that support the unique challenges faced by military connected students. CCS is a member of the Military Child Education Coalition. Our superintendent has served as a member of that organization since its inception and presently serves as the vice chair of the board.
