BLEACHER BIDS
We build our benches & bleachers to the highest standards. Listed below
are some of the differences by others who may be listing their benches &
bleachers as comparable to ours.
1. FRAMES - Ours is 100% aluminum angle. Be careful of those quoting
“galvanized steel as angle iron” as equal.
2. SEAT PLANKS - Ours is 100% anodized aluminum with a minimum
wall thickness of .078. A thinner walled not does not have the strength or
support. Be careful of anyone offering powder coated steel planks which
will rust out when powder coating wears off.
3. FOOT PLANKS - Ours is 100% Mill Finish Aluminum. Be careful of
those quoting steel foot planks. They could rust out & will need to be
replaced.
4. END CAPS - Ours are constructed of fiber reinforced polypropylene.
There are no holes to drill to complete installation. No sharp edges to
snag clothing or skin.

5. INDOOR USE - Our Tip N’ Roll units come with rubber leg protectors so they can be
used indoors or out. Be careful of those units using steel vs. aluminum as the total body
weight is nearly 400 lbs. and attempting to use these in a “tip-over” fashion could damage
your gym floor or cause personal injuries.
6. FRONT ROWS - Be very careful of knowing the exact height of each seat section and
the overall units. We are seeing as much as 6” being cut off every seat height by other
makers trying to save money and lower their bids. This puts the first row nearly at 11”
above ground level.
7. BACK & SIDE FENCING - We use 9 gauge wire and heavy duty fence pipe, and attached to bleacher using heavy duty aluminum angle and channel. Anything less is asking for mechanical and safety problems.
Don’t be fooled by a low price. Our manufacturing team has been in this business for 30
years. If you see bids or quotes that “seem too good to be true” - they are. Respectable
manufacturers purchase aluminum at the same prices. Anyone offering to deliver product
at 30% less is not matching specs.

TIP N’ ROLL BLEACHERS










Tip N’ Roll bleachers are perfect for auxiliary seating requirements.
Unit easily tips up on its casters for convenient storage.
Seat planks are either anodized or powder coated (where applicable).
High grade swivel casters & rubber foot pads will not mar your
floors.
Due to constantly changing specifications, please check local building and safety codes to insure compliance.
Standard models include single foot plank.
4 row models feature low rise framework – the first seating row is
12” off the ground.
Some assembly required.
WARNING: These lightweight units are easily tipped up for rolling
by any responsible adult. However, if tipped up outdoors, extreme
caution should be taken in windy conditions. Multiple adults may be
required to control the unit.

Buying Aluminum Bleachers — Things & Terms You Need to Know
System Types
"Non-Elevated Bleachers" is a term used to describe a type of bleacher that when seated on the first row, your feet are at ground level.
Available in Standard, Preferred, Deluxe and ADA Models.
"Low-Rise Bleachers" have a first seat height under 12" and a 6" rise per row. They have a 12" anodized aluminum seat plank as opposed
to the standard 10" seat plank. This system is designed to meet most building codes without an aisle or rear guardrail. This type system
provides more bleacher seats at affordable prices. These systems are available up to 4 rows without a guardrail system. A 5 row Low-Rise is
available with the same features and includes a unique vertical picket guardrail that wraps around the ends of the top seat.
"Tip N' Roll Bleachers" have the ability to be tipped up onto their attached caster wheels and rolled away for easy storage. They feature an
extension arm for easy tipping, 5" non-marring caster wheels (rear wheels have a brake for securing movement when stored), rubber foot
pads to prevent marring of indoor flooring and secure movement when in use and cross bracing on all understructure frame bays. A NRS
exclusive outrigger is standard on all 4 row Tip and Roll bleachers for added stability when in an upright position. Tip N' Roll bleaches are
also available in a Low-Rise system.
"Transportable Bleachers" can be moved from one area of the grounds to the next (5 m.p.h. max). This versatile system, available with 5
rows or 10 rows, is the perfect solution for adding seating where permanent year round bleacher seating is not required. Sharing Transportable Bleachers is an affordable multi-area solution. The Transportable Bleacher are available with an extra heavy aluminum understructure or
a galvanized steel understructure. There is additional cross- bracing and added galvanized steel horizontal lifting braces on the front and rear
of the understructure for added stability when moving the system. Transportable Bleachers require a Transport Kit (sold separately) that includes a jack for lifting the system to insert the wheel assembly, the wheel assembly with attached axle, tongue assembly and removable
tongue assembly brackets to secure the tongue assembly. A heavy duty Transport Kit (with built-in hydraulic jack and larger 14" wheels) is
required for all 10 row and elevated systems.
"Elevated Bleachers" is a term used to describe a type of bleacher that when seated on the first row, your feet are at the height of the elevated front walkway. Several elevation heights are available. These elevations require entry stairs and front guardrail. A handicap ramp may
also be required with ADA seating.
Basic Bleacher Terms
"Single Foot Plank" is a term used to describe (1) 2"x10" mill finish aluminum foot plank per row to rest your feet on when seated.
"Double Foot Plank" is a term used to describe (2) 2"x10" mill finish aluminum foot planks per row to rest your feet on when seated.
"Riser Plank" is a term used to describe a "mill finish" aluminum plank that is mounted vertically under the seat and behind your feet to close
the opening to meet building and safety codes.
"Rise" The vertical measure from the top of a bleacher seat to the top of the bleacher seat in the next row.
"Run" The horizontal measure from the front of a bleacher seat to the front of the bleacher seat in the next row.

NATIONAL RECREATION SYSTEMS—Standard Non-Elevated Bleachers
Our "Standard" non-elevated aluminum bleachers provide an affordable system for all your basic bleacher needs. All
"Standard" bleachers include 2"x10" anodized seat plank, single (1) 2"x10" mill finish foot planks on rows 2-3 and double (2)
2"x10" foot planks and riser plank on rows 4 and above. Powder-coated color seat planks are additional. Guardrails are included on all systems with 4 rows of seating or more. Price are with chain link guardrails. Vertical picket guardrails are additional. Our 3 row bleachers top seat height is under 30" so guardrail and riser are not required to meet building and safety
codes. Galvanized steel frames are optional. 5-Year Limited Warranty. Assembly required.

NATIONAL RECREATION SYSTEMS—Low Rise Bleachers
Our "Low Rise" non-elevated bleachers a offer a quality bleacher at an affordable price. These bleachers feature a first row seat height under 12", 6" rise per
row, 2"x12" wide anodized seats and do not require aisles. The 3 and 4 row systems top seat height is under 30" and do not require guardrail to meet building
and safety codes. 5 row models included vertical picket guardrail shown. Assembly Required. 5 Year Limited Warranty
Bleacher Buying Need-to-Knows: Features listed below may be required to meet local code. Always check with your local building department.
"Standard" suffix STD on the end of our model # refers to the system having single(1) 2"x10" foot plank per row.
"Preferred" suffix PRF on the end of our model # refers to the system having double (2) 2"x10" foot planks on all rows for wider more stable footing base.
Note: Low Rise Bleachers do not include riser planks except on 5 row models and all have aluminum frames.

planks are additional. Guardrails are included on all systems with 4 rows of seating or more. Our 3 row bleachers top seat
height is under 30" so guardrail and riser are not required to meet building and safety codes. Prices are with Chain link Guardrails. Vertical picket guardrails are additional. Galvanized steel frames are optional. 5-Year Limited Warranty.

Transportable Bleachers
Our Transportable bleachers are designed specifically to withstand the rigors of movement. Each Transportable bleacher is
fitted with a galvanized steel horizontal lifting brace and has extra bracing to stabilize the bleacher during movement. These
systems are not intended for use on any public roadways. 5 mph is recommended speed limit. All Transportable bleachers
include ground sills and are available in "Standard", "Preferred" & "Deluxe" models. Vertical Picket Guardrails are additional.
Assembly required.

Light Duty 5 Row Wheel Kit
includes (2) 12" wheels
Note: Order one "Wheel Kit" (required) to move multiple sets of bleachers. A "Light Duty" Transport (Wheel) Kit must be
