Why advertise in LA YOGA?
1. readers respect LA YOGA
LA YOGA has a reputation for editorial excellence and commands
respect for its cutting-edge editorial content. The placement of your ad
in LA YOGA means that readers associate your business with our highlyregarded publication.
2. LA YOGA gets picked up
6. unique and ground-breaking content
LA YOGA features unique and groundbreaking content, appreciated by
our readers. LA YOGA is the only yoga magazine to publish a Jyotish,
Vedic Astrology column and some readers report that the regular column
is the first page to which they turn in the magazine. Our one-of-a-kind
Ayurveda Q and A column, with rotating columnists, elicits questions
written from across the country by interested and engaged readers.
Readers look forward to the regular distribution of LA YOGA and rapidly
pick up the publication. LA YOGA gets passed from reader to reader,
while other free publications may be left aside. Our magazine gets picked
up, which means that your ad is being read.
In each issue, LA YOGA features in-depth interviews with leaders in a variety
of fields, including Yoga, Ayurveda, holistic health, politics and music fields,
such as Shiva Rea, Erich Schiffmann, Robert Svoboda, Gangaji, Dennis
Kucinich, Ali McGraw, Dave Stringer, Wah! and Lou Reed.
3. wide distribution network
LA YOGA is the only yoga magazine that features bilingual articles.
We have a section each issue that is run in both Spanish and English,
growing the readership of LA YOGA and making the information in LA
YOGA available to a wider audience. Readers appreciate the inclusion of
bilingual articles. Medical and health-related editorial in LA YOGA is written
by experts in the field and is focused on evidence-based information or
traditional practitioners, providing conscientious information for readers.
LA YOGA distributes 90,000 copies throughout Los Angeles, the Inland
Empire, the desert communities, the Bay Area, San Diego County, Orange
County, the Valley and Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. LA YOGA
is growing with increased distribution, partnerships with studios and
schools and with expanded subscription programs. LA YOGA reaches
people of influence including yoga teachers, healthcare professionals and
industry leaders as well as experienced yogis to newcomers. LA YOGA is
distributed in bookstores, health food stores, meditation centers, gyms,
libraries, universities and healthcare professionals’ offices. People vising
these locations care about their physical, mental and spiritual health. These
are the people you want to reach with your product, service or business.
4. LA YOGA is a valuable resource
LA YOGA readers are engaged in the community, well-educated and
make purchases and decisions based on what they see in the magazine.
People pick up LA YOGA to look for classes, studios, events, books,
DVDs and other materials.
5. partnership
By advertising in LA YOGA, you are supporting the continuing of editorial
material that provides an educational resource to introduce readers to
the depth of yoga, Ayurveda and related practices, thus providing a
growing market for your business.
7. Ayurveda
Ayurveda, one of the traditional
systems of medicine native
to India and considered to be
yoga’s sister science, is a rapidly growing field within holistic and integrative medicine.
People turn to LA YOGA for
in-depth and accurate information about Ayurveda and
see the magazine as a source
for spas, retreat centers, clinics and practitioners and
Ayurvedic products. LA YOGA
is the only consumer magazine
with as much regular, in-depth
coverage of Ayurveda.

“Yoga Journal Conferences advertises our annual January San
Francisco Conference in LA Yoga
every year and we always receive
great results! It targets the perfect
yogi audience that we are trying
to reach.”
“LA Yoga helps build a community of likeminded people who share a common interest
in the practice and study of Yoga in all its
various forms. As a reader, I learn a great
deal about what is happening in our area,
and it has been an excellent outreach vehicle
for our programs at LMU.”
