At its heart are the garden, pumpkins and squashes which are a recurring theme in Kate’s work, and the exhibition celebrates the material and art of ceramics, a particularly strong area of the collection at Waddesdon. It forms part of the Contemporary at Waddesdon programme, commissioning artists to respond to the place and its contents. Kate has recently been appointed as one of two judges on a new BBC series about ceramics, with a format based on the Great British Bake-off.
